If I'm offside, and some defender cant control/stop a ball from one of my teammates and I get it, it's offside ...

doesnt matter, he wasnt offside when the last liverpool player touched the ball. He was when it hit the opposition player, therefore not offside

Actually, if the defender doesn't successfully control the ball, then the player would still be offside. This happens in sokker as well.
