Asunto: Barclays Premier League 2010-11

Another big decision favouring the mancs. Neville not being sent off and wba not getting a penalty
2011-01-01 22:24:09
being a Man U fan i have to agree that should of been a penalty, Neville should never be playing for Man U anymore, he is useless, slow, rarely gets good tackles. Hate him, mind you, that Fabio aint much better with the tackles he doesn :/

WAHEY! LAST MINUTE!

Thank you Joe Cole!
2011-01-01 22:36:36
why don't you complain that he was offside?
2011-01-02 09:19:40
finally.. rooney's score again..plus an assist for chicharito :D
2011-01-02 11:32:45
because he wasnt, it came off the bolton defender. If you're on about cole's goal that is
2011-01-02 11:49:30
:P

thank you astonp, you saved me explaining it. It bounced off Elmander rather than Rodriguez.
2011-01-02 11:56:53
bouncing off isn't changing a possible offside position :)
2011-01-02 13:19:16
exactly
the moment Torres touched the ball Cole was offside and took part in the action = offside goal
2011-01-02 13:25:04
no, but he cant be given offside because it came off an opposition player, similar to intercepting a back pass
2011-01-02 13:27:11
thats the point though, it didnt touch torres
2011-01-02 13:28:01
bouncing off isnt a pass.
I havent seen the match, so dont know what the situation is.
If I'm offside, and some defender cant control/stop a ball from one of my teammates and I get it, it's offside ...
2011-01-02 13:35:03
I was sure that Torres did touch it, will check it later.
2011-01-02 14:42:13
doesnt matter, he wasnt offside when the last liverpool player touched the ball. He was when it hit the opposition player, therefore not offside
2011-01-02 15:54:28
Actually, if the defender doesn't successfully control the ball, then the player would still be offside. This happens in sokker as well.
