and having a refferee who is giving every decision to man ure is a skill too i guess.

I guess you missed that situation where Chelsea defender handballed in their penaltyarea and the one where Terry (I think) tripped United player, in penaltyarea again.. ;)
Overall referee was good today and United was better team.

well ref isn't usually bad, when manu is leading safely. Ref is there to help out when things are getting difficult for manu:P

Anyways congrats to manu fans!

Teemu, just leave him, he obviously is bias and doesn't analyse the whole match.

evans on the floor for 3 and a half mins
ferdinand on the floor for 3 mins plus substitutions and stoppages

they were on the floor at the same time ya numpty.

Personally, we should of scored more, Hernandez missed a few chances as did Rooney. Referee was crap, blatent penalty and Ivanovic should of been sent of with two yellow cards, second tackle studding rooney and no card, wtf!

Oh well, a win is a win i suppose. Looks like the title is heading to Old Trafford.

Oh and also, i liked the flag that said;

In 1994, you said come back when you have 18
here we are
sitting on your perch

thought that was hilarious ;)

no. if united were losing 2-1 i guarentee webb would have gave 6 mins minimum.
2011-05-08 19:57:46
doubtful
2011-05-08 19:59:08
i dont think so.

would agree on that.

Manu were definately the best team today, chelsea just didnt turn up. Decisions could have gone either way for both sides, fair result today probably on balance.

In all my years of watching football (12), I have never seen such a spineless pile of crap (and I've seen some dire performances by Liverpool). When they went 2-0 down, unlike when Liverpool went 2-0 down at OT, Chelsea just gave up. Absolutely pathetic.

Oh, and I like the fact that Owen and all the other Manure fans have, when pointing out Howard Webb's mistakes, they papered over the fact that, at one point, Chelsea were denied a penalty for handball when Webb penalised Chelsea for... nothing. Ridiculous.

Interesting article in a football pullout:

Prior to today, Howard Webb has given Man United 3 penalties in their last 4 games at old trafford that he has officiated. Man U have won the last 10 Old Trafford games that he has officiated.

In the last 5 seasons, Howard Webb as officiated 12 games at Old Trafford, giving 173 free-kicks in Man United's favour to the oppositions' 147. He has booked 34 opponents, to 24 Man United bookings.

In fact, all referees could come under scrutiny. At Old Trafford, Man U have been awarded 3 times more penalties than the opposition, and the opposition have been given 3 times more red cards than Man United.

I hope that this will be used as reference to all future arguments over whether Man U get an unfair advantage.

you cant sway those of such low intelect. They are in their own little world.
2011-05-08 23:10:48
very true
2011-05-08 23:17:08
we papered over that fact just like you do when you say everything goes to us.
2011-05-08 23:18:01
its probably the same in all teams cases
2011-05-08 23:18:31
no, everything goes to you, its just a fact.
2011-05-08 23:19:34
my point exactly...
2011-05-08 23:21:50
anybody without a man u bias would agree, you are just in denial.
