Asunto: Fantasy Premier League 2010-11

You keep Mikel and Carragher mate :) We'll see where that gets you at the end of the season.
Check out last season's scores for an estimate ;-)

As for Carragher I agree, but Mikel - last year he didn't get that many chances to play, now the midfield of Chelsea is more narrow, since Deco and Ballack left, hence Mikel is going to get more playing time. Also Chelski does not lose to many goals and does score a lot and when we take into account Mikel's value he seems like a pretty damn good sub.

Having said that, who would you use in next game:

Dunne vs Stoke on away game, or Hangeland vs Wolves home? I guess the second option makes more sense, right?

For heavens sake, Mikel is a holding midfielder, thus he is part of the defense. He never participates in attack thus he never gets points for assists let alone scoring goals. Because he is designated as a midfielder he also doesn't get the CS (Clean Sheet) bonus as defenders get. so for the fantasy game he is useless. But like I said earlier, you keep him and we'lltalk at the end of the season.

Regarding good subs, you want a sub that plays all the time - Mikel is in danger now btw because of Ramires - and scores. There are man other and better options at this price range.

Dunne is not injured but is in doubt and AVL in general seems a little deflated. I'd go with Hengeland who also scores well.

i dont have Mikel, its just obvious why people have him. If he gets dropped then people can sub him, not exactly rocket science. Where are you ranked Rog?
2010-09-02 13:26:32
Reasons Bale in for Walcott:
- economical. Walcott is likely to add more value to my team through game transfers.
- Arsenal is a way better team then Tottenham who I believe haven't been impressive, this being underlined by their loss against Wigan for crying out loud. Arsenal are likely to score much more goals and Walcott is in the form of his life. Who can tell when he'll start losing that form? Maybe it will be his breakthrough season.
- My other options in midfield are Nani, Arshavin, Malouda and Albrighton. The first three are, I believe, better FPL players then Bale. I couldn't sub Albrighton because I didn't have the money, leaving Bale as the final option.

Anyway, if my gamble fails, I can always sub Bale back in.

I therw out arshavin and brought in Walcott a week ago.

totenhams first match of the season convinced me to bring in Bale for the rest of the season.

but I wonder who will be spurs´s gk next match.. I bought cucidini a day before they brought in pletikosa.. I had to threw out jaaskelainen as he probably wont play for a short while now.. and I´m not dare enough to let robinson on the field against City.. so, should I bring in pletikosa now or keep cucidini:(?

"Where are you ranked Rog?"
Is this how you want to go about it? Okey dokey :)

31st atm with this team, some pretty bad choices there.. Luckily it's only been 3 matches so far..

Gomes
Hangeland, Craddock, Dawson, Boateng
Lampard(c), Y.Toure, Malouda, Nolan
Zamora, Tevez

g-Jaaskelainen, d-Foley, m-Etherington, f-Rodallega

Had no idea that Lampard has been injured, otherwise Drogba or Malouda would have been my captain. Guess I should use wild card now.

Good team that!
Other than Gardner which I think was somewhat lucky so far the others make good choices.
...and remember that Scholes will be rotated.
But a very nice team.
