Asunto: Fantasy Premier League 2010-11

2010-11-08 10:12:38
I changed Drogba for Torres and Nani for Walcott.
2010-11-08 14:06:18
Sounds good.

I used my wildcard finally, looks like that right now:

Foster Carson
Terry Cole Jagielka El Mohamady Ridgwell
Malouda Silva Arteta Cahill Bale
Berbatov Carroll Rodallega

first team:

Foster
Terry Cole Jagielka
Malouda Silva Artera Cahill Bale
Berbatov Carroll
2010-11-08 14:25:29
I would go 4-5-1, because you've got Berbatov v Man C + Rodallega v Liverpool
2010-11-08 14:30:24
yeah, Rodallega is out for sure and 451 is an option :)

decent week for me with hart, ridgewell, carroll, colocinni. Up into top 10,000 now.

Wow, that's good going. Well done!

I was having a good run a little while ago but it has gone all pear-shaped in the last three weeks.

I now have Nani and Van der Vaart injured with Shawcross suspended and that's after having got rid of injured Craddock and suspended Bramble last week!

I'm still struggling to decide who to transfer in/out today for this round.

Sold Shawcross to bring in Alex. Chelsea have a decent looking run of fixtures ahead for the next 4 or 5 matches.

Chelsea: have good fixtures but... Drogba has a fever and while he'll probably play, is a bit under par for form. Malouda has a twisted ankle but Bosingwa may feature on the first XI since this is a home game and Ancelotti wants him there.
Arsenal: Fabregas still suffers from "fluids near his muscle" but getting better, Nasri got a knock, Walcott still looking for his lost form and everyone getting rid of Chamakh for fear of RVP. If and when Vermaelen is back, the Arsenal defence might be worth checking for defending options.
ManU: Rooney still in the USA, Berbatov has fully regained his last season weak form, Chicharito can not function under the 4-5-1 system and Nani is still in doubt. Is this time for the return of Giggs and Scholes for the derby match?
Tottenham: The defence still leaks like a sieve but Hutton shows promise and a bit of Bale style on the right side if he can work well with returning to form Lennon. VDV is still a doubt and Harry is cautious about bringing him in. Pavlyuchenko might be finding his form at last but Defoe is also nearing a return. Bale's problem is Ekkotto which seems to narrow the space for Bale to run in to.
Liverpool: They still seem a bit disorganised but at least regained their fighting spirit. Lucas was the surprising man in midfield and actually Kuyt caused much havoc playing right behind Torres and allowing him to score twice. Cole and Miereless (1 assist) are still a mystery.
Other notables: Elmo, Coleman, Cahill, Westham's great next 4 GWs (bot missing Noble & Hitzl), Bolton (Is petrov finally in form) and of course Newcastle (Carroll, Nolan and Krul).

Of course Rodallega had to score, as well as Chamakh who I've decided to ditch before this round ;-) There goes 10pts for me ;-)
2010-11-10 22:35:06
ive got whitehead sat on the bench with 10 points and my captain got 1 point, dont think i'll still be top tomorrow
2010-11-10 22:35:15
Chamakh scores his second. Of course he does.
2010-11-10 22:36:19
Yeah, seen him - some bad luck!
I still hope for Cahill/Arteta scoring.
2010-11-10 22:44:57
Bolton's goal costs me 8 pts...
2010-11-11 07:06:06
Damnit! I bring Alex in and he doesn't play. :(
2010-11-11 14:18:23
I brought him in for Boswinga :s
2010-11-11 14:39:12
49p for me even Odemwingie was on the bench and Walcott and Nasri didn't play.
