Asunto: Seria "A" 2010/2011

2011-02-14 00:57:58
I made a little check of the games that are to be played

[W] = away
[D] = home

sorry for w and d, but I was writing it on Polish forum

Hard games for the teams fighting for Scudetto/Champions League

Milan

[D] Napoli
[W] Juventus
[W] Palermo
[D] Inter
[W] Fiorentina
[W] Roma
[W] Udinese

Also a hard away game at Chievo. If Milan wins the league it will be something really big...

Napoli

[W] Milan
[D] Lazio
[D] Udinese
[W] Palermo
[D] Inter
[W] Juventus

Napoli has weaker opponents than Milan and with current form Napoli should be the new champion...

Inter

[W] Sampdoria
[W] Milan
[D] Lazio
[D] Fiorentina
[W] Napoli

Easy top 4, will probably enter the race for scudetto.

Juventus

[D] Milan
[W] Roma
[W] Fiorentina
[W] Lazio
[D] Napoli

Not bad. Worst games at home, 4th place is very possible if they keep the form from last 3 games.

Roma

[W] Genoa
[D] Lazio
[W] Fiorentina
[D] Juventus
[W] Udinese
[D] Palermo
[D] Milan

Very hard games.

Udinese

[W] Palermo
[D] Roma
[W] Napoli
[W] Fiorentina
[D] Lazio
[D] Milan

As hard as Milan. Also a series of games: Fiorentina, Lazio, Chievo away and Milan. I don't think that we will see Roma in CL...

Lazio

[D] Palermo
[W] Roma
[W] Napoli
[W] Inter
[D] Juventus
[W] Udinese

With this form and these games we can see Lazio away from the Europa League. CL is impossible in my opinion.

Palermo

[D] Udinese
[W] Lazio
[W] Genoa
[D] Milan
[W] Roma
[D] Napoli

With current forms and these games I think that the table will be like this:

1. Napoli
2. Milan
3. Inter
4. Juventus
5. Roma
6. Palermo
7. Udinese
8. Lazio

I, personally, don't think that Milan will make it. It can even go down to 3rd. It's very hard to predict, but Inter has easiest game from Milan, Napoli and Inter. Milan definitely has the hardest schedule of those three.

Napoli champion ? Tell me that you joking mate :)

Milan have bigest chances for Scudetto.
2011-02-14 01:09:22
Why Milan has the biggest chances...?

If Inter wins the old game, then the table will be like this:

Milan 52
Napoli 49
Inter 47

With the schedule [have you seen it?] Napoli looks like the most probable title contender. Milan has the worst set of games to play of those 3 teams, Inter has the easiest.

So ?

Milan play against Napoli at home, and have 75% chances for win. If Milan win in that match, adios napoli :)
2011-02-14 01:19:13
And if Milan won't win...? :)

75% is too much. I think it's 60-40. Napoli is in great shape and Milan has weak defence. Cavani, Hamsik and Lavezzi will wreak havoc...it's not going to be a one sided game.

I'm not saying that Napoli will be the champion. I'm saying that Napoli has the biggest chance, in my opinion.

Forza Milan !

Next game is Chievo-Milan so we are going match for match :)

i believe william blake analysis is correct but, as ultra said, there's milan-napoli in two weeks and if milan wins that match points to regain will be 6.. not easy.. also considering that napoli is a young team: it's easier for them to lose some easy matches for overconfidence (remember chievo's match).. and remember that milan's def is the less beaten.. despite of yesterday's result i still believe inter is favourite for winning this league.

Btw if Cavani will go on playing like this till the end of season (would be a monster) i'd bet on Napoli too :)

NIC para borkos007
Milan has weak defence

ehm.... it has the best defence and played a lot of match without 3/4 best defs (abate nesta and zambrotta).

I know that Milan doesn't lose a lot of goals, but I still think that the defenders are weak, except Silva, Nesta and now Legro :p Bonera is a joke, Antonini and Abate are weak as well...Zambrotta is no more a class player

you can think what you want of course... but "numbers talk" :)

if you read napoli's defs names you can laugh for a long time... campagnaro, cannavaro p, aronica, grava ect... and despite all napoli has a good defence system.

the same milan's one. this season it's really strong and when you see milan playing you feel quiet because he doesn't risk for almost the whole match.

Milan`s defence weak ? Are you sure ?

Milan have best defence in Italy this season. Just take a look table and you can see that Milan received 19 goals.
2011-02-14 15:04:34
ac milan's central defenders are now ok: T.Silva, Nesta, Yepes and Legrottaglie are enough..

the problem is about wingbacks.. Antonini, Abate, Oddo, Zambrotta, Jankulovski, Bonera.. all of them are quite good in defending phase, but useless in the offensive one.. just hope Didac Vilà will be a crack.. and hope also that Antonini get some courage: last season he was far better then now..
2011-02-14 15:08:03
that's what I'm talking about

the centre is ok if Silva is healthy. Doesn't matter if he will play with Nesta, Legro or Yepes - it will be ok. But the side defs are weak...Jankul and Zambro were great once but now there are weak, especially Jankulovski. Bonera sucks big time :S

Abate is weird, he played a very offensive winger in u21 and now he is a right defender who doesn't impress in offence...similar story to De Ceglie :p

down to two points different.. pazza inter amala! :)
2011-02-20 13:33:53
I cant believe what a shame win for inter...
