Asunto: Copa America 2011

I don't know what to think of Neymar. He has talent, yes. The way he plays is great for youtube movies, but would he really be useful in Europe - in Italy or England? With this style of play I'm not sure. Also he seems very arrogant, even more than Robinho. I know I wouldn't pay 30m for him, and Santos wants what, 50m? Ridiculous.

But the most ridiculous transfer in last year was Piazon to Chelsea. 17yo kid, ZERO games in senior football...and Sao Paulo got 6 to 8m pounds. Piazon was already paid 1m pounds and is going to earn 2m pounds each year. It's not normal...

Perfect analysis.

I always asked me...why Brasil doesnt call Hulk from Oporto?, he would be a great partner for any forward, he can play in the first squad or in the bench to be replaced.

i agree, hulk up front with pato would be a good combination.

Nobody knows why he isn't called. The same with Hernanes and Renato Augusto.

50 milions for Neymar ?

OMG where is football going...
2011-07-04 16:24:49
And Conmebol elected him as MOTM, haha.

And Conmebol elected him as MOTM, haha.

on that match against venezuela?? imho, that venezuelan defender who's held the ball running past the goal line with his shoulder is the MOTM..
2011-07-04 16:48:00
CONMEBOL doesnt choose the MOTM, it's the people that votes on the Copa América official site.
2011-07-04 16:55:21
And as always when you give the choice to a mass, the result is tragic. :)
2011-07-04 17:01:32
Yeah, in the first match people voted Messi as MOTM, bolivian captain was better.
2011-07-04 17:34:57
I watched only 2nd half, but Messi has shown nothing. Aguero should be MoM, just for that crucial goal. People vote for names, there's no sense in checking the results of such votings. Especially as most people know nothing about football.

+1, Aguero should MoM in the first match :/

Messi was great in the first half. Then Batista sent him to the midlefield, right where Pastore should be, and he killed both Messi's and Argentina's game.
Still I don't think he was "MOTM", some of the bolivian players made a really complete match (if such an expression is meaningful in english :P).
