V D Sar had one of his best seasons last year imo, especially for his age and how good his reactions/flexibility still were. He was the reason man u won the league.

Given is quality indeed :) Too bad he went to City but has to respect his long career in Newcastle. I see also Harper has spent ages in there. Just coincidence or do keepers love Newcastle for some reason? ;)

Hmm, Harper is a Geordie so he was probably happy to sit on the bench while Given played, nice job to have sitting on the bench and getting paid for it :)

In his defense the ball had a change of direction in last moment so it wasn't THAT easy.

Nevertheless a class gk should catch such ball. It's a fairly common type of ball in volleyball, 'rotation-less serve' - it flies straight and then suddenly changes the direction.

that two citeh goals were the moment of de gea mistakes and also a sloppy defense by united midfield and defend. in the first goal he should have came out to cut the pass, not just standing in that position. for the second goal, no one covering the movement of dzeko so he got a good space to shoot and de gea was late to anticipate the ball.
overall united was playing good, since this pre season they seems to have change their game play. more short passes and less long shot. lots of chances create by them today and that united second goal was amazing! :D tom cleverley is really clever. cleverley+sneijder, would be a good pair ;)
