You can't act blind just cause you like RM...I hate Barca,but judging by yesterday game,they absolutely deserved to win...RM became silly team,with rough,no-brain players crying about everything...Pepe is an idiot,that's for sure,and it's shame for RM to have player like him in the squad...Playing game just to hurt opponent players,that's foolish and disrespectful...I'm glad Barca beat them cause I hope that maybe something will change in RM...They have quality to win Primera,CL and cup,but they won't if they continue to play this style of football...they need to start playing technique football and forget on rivality and revenge...Fauls are not included in score,goals are...and even they scored from that 2 chances they had,wouldn't be enough

Put a rugby referee on a sokker field and the sport would be fun to watch again without simulating or foul play. True story :)
I sometimes watch old games of Juve, from 2000-2003...football was TOTALLY different back then. Hard tackles, players kicked...and still running after the ball, not 'dying' on the pitch...

I agree. Tackles and the stuff Pepe does should not be allowed and he should be suspended for months. However, trying to misleed the referee (schwalbe, faking to have received a punch, ...) should be punished hard too. Someone who asks for a fault, should get yellow himself. Let the referee do his job.
What I find most irritating is Valdes running, sometimes for half of the pitch, to scream at the referee and demand a yellow/red card

Not really. The team captain has no additional rights or possibilities on the pitch. He's just the 1st one that the referee should talk to in certain cases (like fans acting crazy).

If you watch some matches from 70-80, you'll see the game even more "manly", hardcore style tackles, playing, the teams didn't get complacent, if they were winning 3-0, they were fighting til the end (that's why we were seeing highscoring games at WC back then, like 10-1, 6-0, 6-4,etc). Now the game is more technical, but when it comes to fighting for the ball its turning into : if you touch me, its a foul.
