the only difference is one of them just spends even more than the other because FA allows teams to make insane amounts of debt :)

I completely agree. But every team has to start from some point. The way Man C has got to the top( splashing money) is the only way nowadays, if they would have started small, by building their youth academy and stuff, they would have just been feeders to the big teams(like dutch and french teams are now)
They just bring even more quality to the league and make the entertainment more enjoyable so i dont mind them(even when they probably destroy Arsenal in their league game:P)

Every team needs to spend money in this modern age to get to the top of any premier league. Of course ManCity spends at the moment a lot of money but so did Chelsea couple of years ago and now nobody seems to remember that. And about teams making depth. It seems to be a big problem to many teams including Manu, Barcelona, Real etc. Of course thera are new markets in Asia to go to and to get the money they need to balance their books and it seems that teams are doing just that.
