Well first of all the fact that Suarez got a 8 match ban for saying "nigger" in his own language where it doesnt mean anything bad, as you know its not a racist word in estonian aswell. Maybe he meant it, maybe not, totally not worth to go whine in front of everybody. I went to Portugal 2 years ago and on the beach there were alot of black people selling sunglasses, creams & stuff. If i had gone to the police every time they said "Hey white boy, look what i have for sale here" or "Hey dude, looks like you could need some suncream(referring to my white skin, racist, right?) the police would have looked at me like a moron, tho its basically the same thing, aint it?

You are totally right, saying "negro" in South America (specially in Uruguay and Argentina) is pretty common and non harmful.

Of course the way you say it determinates wether you're discriminating or not, I call all my black friends "negro" and they are fine with it.
