I'd be worried that you have to select Bendtner!

Oh, for the days of Tomasson and Sand!

holland have some decent choice now for gk, Krul is good, so is Vorm and steklenburg

Actually he performs quite well for the NT, so I'm not worried the slightest for having to choose him. Much more worried about what will happen if he's injured or is being suspended.

Not trying to offend you, but what do you honestly think the chances are Denmark will win even 1 game?
2012-05-22 11:30:52
They are quite ok. We were in group with Portugal in the Euro 2012 qualifying and WC 2010 qualifying and won both. We won in two of the matches against them, tied in one and lost one. As far as I remember our game against Netherlands in the WC 2010 was quite even with Denmark being unlucky with a own goal. Surely Netherlands and Germany are better teams but if we're playing good and the other teams have a bad day I don't see why we can't beat them.

bigger than the chances the Netherlands win a world cup.

So, none at all? :)

we were talking about Denmark's chances, not the Netherlands' ;)

Netherlands have a great Offense, but I think against the "big" Nations like Spain, Greece or Germany you also need a strong Defense. I doubt they can make it against them only with their offensive power. Which is impressive though.

For Germany, we have a good shot I think. Özil, Müller, Neuer and Hummels are in great shape. Schweinsteiger hopefully soon as well. These are key players.
2012-05-22 19:39:50
True, which is why sadly we need 2 defensive midfielders like Van Bommel and De Jong, because our defense is crap. I'd say either Germany or Spain will win the Euro 2012.

I look forward to. I hope that the Czechs will play well. We have the best goalie :PP >>>> Petr Cech! :) ..

We will see. Germany looks amazing on paper, but remember what Hummels was doing in Champions League - completely different player. I don't know if he has problem with high-stake games, or it was just...a couple of bad days for him, but he wasn't impressive to say the least
2012-05-22 19:59:38
He played very solid in the Bundesliga and in the Cup. But if he performs badly in the Euro our Defense will fall apart. And then only Podolski can save the day with a hattrick against Spain ;)
2012-05-22 20:03:03
I'm not even sure Hummels will start as a central defender. I fear Löw will use Mertesacker instead of him. :(
2012-05-22 20:05:50
oh no! that is the worst choice ever, he is far far away from a good form.
2012-05-22 20:21:32
He was great in the league and Cup [I've seen about 15, maybe 20 games of BvB this season, most of any team except Juve :p] but in CL - a disaster. I guess that he can make it though...real talent.

I wonder what role will Reus have in this team. Grosskreutz's playing time might go down, even though he is the fans favuorite :p
