Asunto: Barclays Premier League 2013-14

I think people are naive if they thought Manchester United were going to win this season with the transition of Moyes and Woodward. It was undoubtedly a terrible summer transfer window however Moyes has issues in the midfield and i think he recognises that otherwise his rotation wouldn't be so dramatic and constant.

If Moyes is going to succeed at United, he is going to have to make changes, and people need to allow him time to see the club at work before he can do that. January is going to be a big period for United and i expect to see many changes occur within the midfield.

for some reason I wouldn´t be so sure Manu would be in top 4 at the moment if fergie stayed for another season. top of the league and the league in general seems much stronger than last season imo. and manu has as shitty squad as they did last season.

Fergie left at the right time. and Moyes came on the wrong time. but oh well

Q: Whats the difference between Manchester United and a mosquito?
A: A mosquito stops sucking.

There is one positive thing for ManU tho, they have pretty much hit the rock bottom after today so it can only get better now :D

there is always Championship to fall down, Moyes should have committed suicide by now, he has no shame at all, I don't mind lose everything today to win everything tomorrow, but he seems lost, without charisma and nothing to offer neither now nor in future, players are psychologically weak, they're playing beyond watchable level, maybe under 50% of their actual potential, there is not only obvious need to make revolution in squad, but also strong need for a leader, who could replace Ferguson, he doesn't have to be a great tactic or manager, just a leader with charisma, who eventually would have a potential to learn and be a great coach in the future, and now to make players believe in themselves and play at 200% like it was back then, for 26 years before

things to be done from now on
-kick out Moyes
-get a great motivator with strong physiological influence
-make a coach staff revision (something seems wrong not only with Moyes, there is also need to support new head coach)
-buy 3-4 new really good players in summer (Mata is great, but not enough)
-keep Rooney, RvP, Evra and Vidic at all costs
-just qualify to CL for 15/16 (14/15 seems impossible by now)

(optional) kick out weak players like Evans, Jones, Cleverley, Welbeck, Fellaini or Lindegard and think deeply if players like Valencia, Nani, Rafael, Young or Giggs has a reason to be still there

It seems players still cannot adopt moyes tactic.
many years with sir alex, i think MU player need time to be more understanding with the coach strategy.

Did you see game vs Sunderland? They scored 1:0 then started defending and running like a fools when they had to score one more goal to avoid extra time. There was no tactic from them. MU is too much for Moyes.

In Everton nobody is crying after him. Martinez is doing something what Moyes couldn't do during all his time there.

true and now Mata? when they have no reliable central mids making the game, they are going to buy attacking mid?
2014-01-24 14:59:04
Knowing Moyes he will be playing at DM :P

It is easy to blame Moyes, but United had enough chances throughout the game in order to get that second goal. I didn't understand why they sat back for nearly an hour, but i also have to pick out that Hernandez and Welbeck were not fit for purpose.
