Liechtenstein 2-0 Lithuania :P (Lithuania beat us 3-0 at home, in WC qualifying group).. what's going on with these results ??

We won Serbia 3:1 in away match and made 1:1 at home, but look what happened yesterday... I wonder how do the Serbians feel now. :D

You won Serbia in away match, nice! But winning for Serbia and losing for Faroe Islands, that really is something :D But what happened against Faroe Island? One red card for each team, 2 penalties for them, both goals..
And just curious, who's playing in your team? Any famous players..:?

Well against FA happened basically the same thing what we did in a away match with Serbia. I have a feeling that out NT thought that it will be an easy game and we will destroy our opponent, but the reality was different.

At the beginning of the match we had a VERY good 1vs1 opportunity, but our striker just couldnt score it. (Later on he missed another great 1vs1...and believe me, that was a HORRIBLE miss!) If I am not wrong then FA-s only shots on goal were these two penalty kicks... You know there is even a saying in football: "I you wont score, then others will" and thats what happened on Tuesday. FA played with hart, fought for every ball etc - just like out NT in our best times. Also they had a very organized defense and the made some decent pressure, plus contra attacks. And they arent professional footballers!!! (Their last victory was like 16 years ago or sth) Oh yeah, and one of our players (Sander Puri) made a f*****g stupid foal (he just took the ball from the ground and hit it or sth... This foul was far from that, what you could expect from a pro player. The same player got FA the 1st penalty and already had a yellow card!) And that red card came in a very bad time and we had to play with 10 men. FA-s red card was at the end of the game, so that didnt help us at all.

Of course we had some lineup (injury and card) problems, but still this isnt a good excuse - as long as we cant win weaker teams or those who are on the same level or a bit better from us, then those rare great victories doesnt mean anything... Maybe we could even blame our media, who put pressure to our NT etc. The hopes were simply too high. But now the train has gone and hopefully the good days (better game picture) are back . Hopefully...

What can I say. FA deserved that victory. (Its hard to write/say that)

I let you to decide. :)

(There sure arent any world class stars/famous players in our NT, but many players have potential to play in a better club than they do now in the future.)

Turkey? You do know they are currently third in their group, right? It seems to me that Spain, Germany and the Netherlands are the favourites.
