Asunto: EURO 2012 in POLAND and UKRAINE

2011-10-12 16:17:50
I see that you're one of those guys who keep on sticking with the stereotypes, eh? I guess Walcott still is an awesome prospect for you, cause he was at wc at the age of 17? I guess the Italians are still the team-kings of diving, even though Spain simulates a whole lot more nowadays? I bet you still think that Italy plays an extremely defensive football, and Brasil is all about the offensive, right? :)
2011-10-12 16:35:15
it's not a stereotype infortunately. You're right though that the whole team of real and barca are world champions in diving. They take it to their national team of Spain.

2011-10-12 16:43:03
Oh, it is. Please, when you'll have an opportunity to watch CRonaldo play again, then watch him closely and count the number of dives he performs, ok?
2011-10-12 16:50:07
Deal! Although you will probably by then say those are not dives, but just faults ;)

Stereotypes exist for a reason. It's because they're generally true. CR is a diver. He might be more or less at some time but he will always be. It's in his character. Some players are just divers like CR, Drogba or Inzaghi while other fight to stay on their feet and score no matter what like Messi, Adebayor or Van Basten. CR is s great player but he also irritates people for a reason with his vanity and gay-like behaviour.

He was a diver at United, no disagreement there. One of the worst ever existed. But nowadays he is totally different. In his case the stereotype was true and even though it is no more today, it still goes with him.

It's just like the one about crying. When did you last see him crying? Was it at Euro 2004...and was it the only time that he was crying?

Wrong. These are the pots:

Play-off draw
Pot 1 (seeded teams)
Croatia (coefficient 32.723)
Portugal (31.202)
Republic of Ireland (28.203)
Czech Republic (27.982)

Pot 2 (unseeded teams)
Turkey (27.601)
Bosnia and Herzegovina (27.199)
Montenegro (21.876)
Estonia (20.355)

Croatia, Estonia, Bosnia, Irland and Turkey please :)

will be great tournament, final is obvious (Spain-Germany), maybe semifinals too (England, Holland), but overall interesting teams will show up for sure

Italy, Croatia, France in Warsaw would be awesome. :P

I must buy myself an Azzurri shirt for the World Cup :-)

I didn't know about this crying stereotype. I didn't even know he cried at Euro 2004 but losing to Greece twice in home field Euro should make anyone cry. :D

Stil, I think he should not both do depilation and cry. He should just choose one of the 2 unless he wants to be called gay. :D

Do you know how expensive the tickets will be in Poland?
Ukraine is way too far to drive by car :P
2011-10-12 17:32:17
Well the draw for tickets was already made...I didn't get even a single ticket :/. There will be a 2nd round of draw, I don't know when though...

As for expensive - about 40€ for the cheaper tickets from what I remember.

I guess every team in the strong pot hopes to get Estonia. I hope we will play against Ireland or Portugal. Ireland is someone we haven`t played before - would be fun to see Robbie Keane. Portugal is probably the toughest one, but Ronaldo and Nani in our cold snowy November should be amusing. Czechs are not very interesting and Croatia is too boring.
2011-10-12 17:40:30
LOL Why is Croatia boring?
2011-10-12 17:45:08
You are too easy for us:) Actually I don`t see anything exciting about your NT, nothing personal. Just my opinion. We have played you before several times already. Our chances to win in play-off are rather small. So when you lose you want to lose against someone....lets say interesting:)
(editado)

OK, you edited your post just in time ;). I mean, we are No1 seed in these play-offs :D.

I get what you're saying. We don't have many real stars on our team. Maybe only Luka Modrić. We can beat any team when we're at 100% but we're also in poor form for the past 3 years.

Oeps .... Sweden 3-2 Netherlands

But it's ok, the Netherlands already lost the only Euro 2012 match for this tournament and better to have this in the qualification round, the competition (Spain and Germany) will lose their only match during the final tournament with much more consequences ... ;D
