I was glad that the show wasn't as long as the World Cup draw! :-) Promo of the cities was quite nice. I knew that Warsaw is a nice city, but I didn't know about the other ones. Seem to be some nice cities!

In my opinion and opi nion of most Poles, Warsaw isn't so nice. I'm really sad, that Krakow isn't host city. The most beautiful city in Poland. Wroclaw is probably the most beautiful city from these 4. But I live near Poznań, and you can spend there also nice moments, especially in June.

But I like the historic center.

Krakow is a historic center aswell :-)

Our second capital city, before Warsaw, and then Poland was one of the bigest and strongest country in Europe.

@borkos: I didn't said that Warsaw is ugly, but I think Krakow and Wroclaw are more beautiful

strongest? don't make me laugh :D

besides the cities looks nice.

It's hard to find another country, who conquer a capital of Russia. We also saved asses of another imperium (Austria) from Turkey in Wien.

Moldova was also under our leading as I remember? :-D

Yup, we were one of the most important figures in the medieval times, especially after Union with Lietuva. But our politics managed to screw it up...

@Jiler
Krakow is beautiful, so is Wroclaw and Poznan. I think that each of our cities has some spirit. And the best thing is that all the cities are still improving :)
2010-02-07 13:54:17
But it hurts, that Krakow isn't a hoster. I believe that it would be big promotion of our cuntry.
2010-02-07 13:58:26
Well what can you do. The big problem is the stadium, as far as I know it will be the least impressive of all?

Another stupid thing is making the National Stadium and Legia Stadium...why the hell do we need 2 great stadiums so near? Especially as one won't be used more than 3-4 times a year...
2010-02-07 14:00:47
i thought he was talking about modern era, not the medieval one...

and about poland- moldova war i also remember it... Sobierski 3 months took the siege of castle Soroca, but in the end he retreated. and i would say the early medieval era not the whole medieval... cause only in the early period Poland had some power, but not too much

who cares ??

This is about Euro 2012, and I am afraid we (Czech republic) won´t qualify for it.
2010-02-07 14:09:24
Jiler and borkos care ;)
