Interesting, it can be considered.

Still, wages reform is not enough to stop inflation, we need to remember that while we will increase wages in 15-33%, it is still not close to incomes from league games, that increased in 100% with additional game per week. But it will be much easier to search right balance in the future when we will adjust wages first.

Important thing to notice is, that it is only about player wages. In most clubs player wages are around 50-60% of total operating costs, and even that most radical increase for top players will be like - 33% on total team wages, but at level of total club costs it will be more like 20%, while rest types of costs remains the same.

Yep but youth academies are now less profitable and injuries are still high damage...

are not bad the changes but probably the most intereseting change to level up the strong teams with the weak ones would be doing just simply like that:

series A,10 players advance training.
serie B, 12
serie C, 14
serie D, 16

I think that except promised changes in youth sistems (facilities) we should also think about quality vs quantity.

Globaly, the reason why we sack most of new juniors is... there is to much juniors generated. Right now, if avarage draw is 3 new juniors per week, each team with youthschool gets 13x3 juniors per season. 40 players. Each player, if he would be trained would stay in game for 20 seasons... so the number of junior in the game is much to high, it makes that 90% of it is useless. I think we should consider to reduce number of juniors genrated per week, and it can be linked to increasing juniors quality (a bit:P)

- The tax on listing a player remains unchanged.

I think this point could be improved. I mean: I understand that devs want users to be good managers. on the other hand, to make difficulties for the wild traders.

Well, there is a simple way to limit this. I think buying a player just to do business is not the same as buying a player because you need him to compete. In the first case, the wild trader buy a player for a good price and just when the 4 weeks necessary to put it up for sale in TL pass, they list this player for a higher price than they bought 4 weeks ago. this user is guaranteed a profit in 4 weeks ( sometimes big profit)

But what would happen if the tax for listing a player on TL was higher at the beginning and it was reduced as the weeks went by. regular traders would no longer be so interested. For example:

a user buys a player for 1,000,000 e. and after four weeks he puts it back on TL but this time he lists it for 2,000,000 e.

With the current rules, listing a player for an initial price of 2,000,000 e means paying taxes of only 50,000 e. It is a ridiculous tax for a seller who can earn about 900,000 e after only 4 weeks.

On the other hand, if the tax is decreasing, things change:

If the user sells his player only 4 weeks after buying it and lists it at a fixed price of 2,000,000 e, the tax should be higher. maybe 20%, not 2.5%. In the example, the wild trader would pay taxes of 400,000 e, and perhaps he would no longer see it as interesting to make that purchase and that sale with the only benefit of earning easy money.

Logically, with the passing of the weeks, the tax for listing a player at a fixed price would be reduced. Continuing with the example, listing a player at a fixed price on TL would mean paying the following taxes:

4 weeks after buying it, 20%

5 weeks after buying it, 15%

6 weeks later 12.5%

7 weeks later 10%, etc.

and thus up to 2.5% if the player has been in the same club for at least one season.

I am talking about the tax for listing the player at a fixed price on TL, which is independent of taxes when the sale is complete.

but listing a player at a fixed price is one of the easiest weapons that wild traders have to make money safely because there are always users who have no knowledge of market prices and end up bidding that fixed price. higher taxes in the first weeks after buying a player, if the wild trader wants to sell it again, it would limit sales and also current inflation

If this is your analysis, why don't you reduce injuries by 50% and keep training in the NT?

rules:

Placing a player up for sale involves a transfer fee of 2.5% of the starting price. After the transfer, the seller has to pay tax of 5% on the received price. If the player is not originally from your team and is aged 23 or under, then a further 5% of the received price will go to his original club.

so it will be 15% tax for U23 players in future? 10% tax + 5% original club?

No good solution.
This way no one wants to play in 1st league.
It would be a punishment to play there.

there's not only a huge difference between top leagues and bottom leagues, but also between top teams and bottom teams in the same league - with bad fan mood you have much less income. Don't you think that this might become difficult for teams wich go through a season with bad luck and angry fans? Will your analysis before step 2 of the financial reform have a special look for these teams?
2023-03-12 18:08:19
Raul do you understand that with short season slow training and high wages you kill people that train NT players
Implementing things piece by piece kills us
Inflation on youths is casual as you stated we have lack of quality youths.
So before you hit us with wages increase do quick fix on academy. Limit income age and min skillis easy fix we can't wait a year for youth reform...

I'm genuinely worried for the future of the game

These changes fill me with zero confidence , im firefighting with my finances every week and I'm an established top division team

Please don't kill the game
2023-03-12 18:21:55
Same worried too...have already said what are the issues earlier... nobody listen.

This current stubborn update, will increase drastically heavy traders and does not resolve any issues here.

Problem is elsewhere, hey why are you always doing it more difficult way when you have active community thinking actively to mke the game better, instead you come out with ideas out of nowhere and implement them without asking anybody.

Some things like league reforms and training are and have been in the right directions but would need a little bit of overviewing.

Now again and again can't stop repeating salary increasing is really bad idea..game will probably be dead. Just saying.

I think there is one better and easier option to fight against the inflation: supress the extra payment of sponsors at then end of the season.

At the end of the season the players are cheaper than the beginning so within a season there is deflation. That would continue happening during all the season if no extra payment is done. Maybe you could maintain the payment for the anual renewal of the fan's membership because it makes sense an anual payment for that and also because after a season you could evaluate if that was enough to fight the inflation or some more measure would be needed.

This change would much more easier and effective than the ones in the dev 71 blog!

While everybody can see that the player prices increase every season, I must say I expected a more exciting solution. A solution that took into account more of the problems Sokker is facing.

One of these more exciting solutions could be the introduction of team medical specialist. This team could consist of:
- Doctors: lowering the chance of players gettings injured
- Physiotherapists: speed up the recovery time.
And then maybe the trainees and non-trainees both need their own doctor and physio. This way, there is also a strategic choice involved. Those managers that envision long term growth don't need an doctor for their non-trainees, so they save costs.

This idea has a number of benefits:
1. Sucks money out of the game, so battling inflation
2. Reduces injury time
3. Extra strategic choice
4. An extra oppurtunity for small/new teams to save money and thus grow faster.
