"And why again rhe claim that I was targetting YOU when I was talking about injury complaints. Not all goes about you you know."

well when you're clearly responding to me, then I don't really understand why do you talk about others while not specifying it anywhere

anyway life's too short for such discussion, have a good week

I play my friendlies too, but mostly because tan injury or two won't break my team. That might change next year when I move to A league and struggle to succeed. I don't know.

What borkos says IS logical. Also very destructive to keeping new players interested in the game. What I can't understand is why devstaff thinks THAT is such a great idea. New players come in, they are smart enough to play a friendly with a bigger team for more money, they get excited to watch their game, and it's 9 people sitting in a corner doing nothing. Stupid.

As to why play trainees in friendlies - maybe they aren't good enough for the league you're in? I'm in a weird place going into USA A league next year. Most of the teams are better than me, and I'm way too good for B league.

The funny thing is, if a user is convinced to buy PLUS, then it's actually easier to stomach the corner tactics friendly crap, because they have arcades to play at will.

However, it's a bit of a chicken and egg argument because you have to convince people the game's good enough to be a PLUS member of. Hard to do that when you have half-ass rules and workarounds for friendlies.

I'm a PLUS member because it's really not expensive. I've got disposable income. It's good enough for what I get out of it.

Honestly, you guys don't seem to get it. Look at this team:

https://sokker.org/en/app/team/141226/

I can't say for absolute sure, but he literally just sold his whole team. I e-mailed him, he didn't write back. I guess it's possible he's going to buy new players, but look at his team history. He's literally in his second season. He promoted in his first and he got battered in his second. Looks to me like he's checked out and about to quit the game.

This is literally the future I have to look forward to. Losses, a lot of them.

You guys that have been around for years are sunk cost, much like me with Hockeyarena(a very lousy hockey equivalent of this). I play because (unlike here) I never quit for good, and now it's almost silly to completely stop.

At some point, the dev staff have to figure out what they can do to promote teams joining AND staying. At least in America, I don't see a big problem with getting players to try. It's keeping them here...

There’s not much they can do in this regard except from making the user base bigger, so there’s a middle stage between „too good for bots/new teams” and „too weak for teams playing for 4 years+”

Although there are many countries in which teams can be successful even after reaching average of around 65 which is not much and can be reached quite fast… but the process of getting there will probably not be much fun

Mikoos para Fractura
Training is first.

Thanks Mikoos. Then I guess putting a superdivine to train that skill is still useless and will not prevent a drop.

raul hasn't shared anything for a long time. Or did they give up too?
Where are you Raul ? ;)

He is harvesting strawberries in Spain earning money to pay devs.

Behmen para Geston
Why did you write that there is no money?
Where is this phrase reported?

i love this game. I'm currently playing this game only as an online game. I buy plus as much as I can and will continue to do so. i have multiple complaints about the game i know it won't be resolved because we have devs that don't listen to users...

It was said many times before. Slow-paced browser games aren’t popular no more. That’s why you would find barely anyone on here that is younger than 20.

well said you need to know core of sokker and base your strategy around your target audience. I'm sure if the game is based on what the community wants not on the greedy idea of fast money to get many new users only then there could be a profit of it at the end ..

im sure 1000 of those loyal remaining in the game can afford 5$-10$ per month to support the game

im sure lots of users can donate more 1 beer per month for donations so you will have 1 dev full-time on it with full support...

on top if Terion for example put its efforts for providing better internal NTDB he will do it in no time. and i personally will donate my hosting plan for the internal ntdb

its just matter of organization and could be super transparent donations with possible priority fixes and what gets more donation gets prioritized :)
2023-06-13 10:23:17
Stop paying or "donating" anything could even be the last solution to see any dev again.
2023-06-13 10:58:41
That's radical to not pay, but if there's no other way to show your disappointment, then that's the only way sadly.
Obviously people have different views on updates, order and speed of these ''updates or improvments''.
Community has talked loudly out many times without ever being considered, therefore i can relate and understand the ones who leave or give up. Let them be.
2023-06-13 11:23:32
Not so radical. Sokker loose "plus" users every years, so whatever users are still agree to "pay to support" the game, in the end devs will be forced to make choice : closing the site, or really working again on it, even in their free time.
2023-06-13 18:46:36
You shouldn't worry about it. To me the direction is pretty clear so far. If you have community, listen to it and communicate to it as easy as that.
But let's hope the best and comes what comes in the end.

an ideal way would be somehow sending a survey out to every individual team owner. You can listen to the 5% who talk in forums...and it probably won't lead to tragic mistakes, but the forums are only a small portion of the base.
