Hi Raul, can you review "Penalty kicks" issue?
I dont know exactly what devs do, but the "efficiency rate" it´s too low.
I see many, many games, from different countries, and U21, Senior, club teams, friendlies, everything.
I see (as more of us spoke in forums) that it is ALMOST IMPOSIBLE to score a penalty kick.
Please review that, make more real, more equilibrate.
That will be an excellent improve to general results.
Thanks for always reply, and talk to the community.

Could anyone tell me what is the current status of this proposal? I would love to play with teams from different countries in a competitive manner.

International Cup – we are introducing idea of a new international cup which is very similar to the very well known UEFA Champions League. The competition format will consist of a group stage with home-away system and the two best teams from each group will play in a knock-out system. In play-off there will be only one match. The losing team will be eliminated from the cup.
It is important that all players will get the opportunity to play in a cup. This will be a great chance to compete against other players from different countries and of course this will provide you with better match earnings. The competition format will be similar to our league system. Lower levels will have more number of cups. On the highest-level champions of the top leagues will play against each other and consequently if you are the champion of one of the lower leagues you will play against a team from a different country at a similar level to even out chances. The Cup will be designed in a way that the higher level you play, the better financial rewards you get, and fans will be more likely to buy tickets. By doing this we are aiming to motivate you to try to achieve the highest possible position in your league.
Number of teams in cup will be set for 32 or 64. Depends from final season schedule that will be chosen.
so, when can this league start? it is almost 4 years.

If the development will be as fast as in recent months then it will take at least next four years before 1st edition of the cup will start.

I know that Sokker is in a difficult moment, in many countries there are no longer active users and developments are practically blocked. But I, in my naive and dreamy soul, have not stopped thinking about the International Cup that I would like to see realized one day.
I thought about it so much that I came to develop the perfect shape.
Yes, I think I'm not wrong. What I will present to you tonight is the most beautiful and functional International Cup that the human mind can conceive. I will try to explain the project to you in the simplest form possible. Follow me. A dream of one is just a dream, but if many start dreaming...
International Cup – Features
The international Cup has the following general characteristics:
• involves ALL Sokker teams
• It has three levels: International Gold Cup, International Silver Cup, International Bronze Cup
• All teams play thirteen games, one for each week of the season
• All teams tend to face opponents of the same or similar level
• At the end of the season each team reaches a position in their Cup between 1st and 256th
International Cup – Structure
The basic unit of the International Cup is the Tournament. Each Tournament includes 256 participants, divided into 32 groups of 8 teams each. The structure is as follows:
International Gold Cup: 1 Tournament (256 total participating teams)
International Silver Cup: 6 Tournaments (1536 total participating teams)
International Bronze Cup: 36 Tournaments (9216 total participating teams)
Note: The structure and number of Tournaments may vary as Sokker develops, but the basic unit will continue to be the Tournament consisting of 256 teams.
How the Tournament works
The Tournament, the basic unit of all levels of the International Cup, has 256 participants, divided into 32 groups of 8 teams each. The teams face each other in seven one-way games, from week 1 to week 7. In each of the 32 groups we obtain a ranking from first to eighth place. In week 8 the head-to-head phase begins, in which all 256 teams participate.
The top 32 teams battle for positions 1-32
The 32 runners-up battle for positions 33-64
The 32 third-placed teams battle for positions 65 - 96
The 32 fourth-placed teams fight for positions 97 -128
The 32 fifth-placed teams battle for positions 129 - 160
The 32 sixth-placed teams battle for positions 161 - 192
The 32 seventh-placed teams battle for positions 193 - 224
The 32 eighth-ranked teams fight for positions 225 – 256
The 16 winners of the first round of the top-ranked teams fight for positions 1-16
The 16 first-round losers battle for positions 17 – 32
The 16 winners of the first round of the second-ranked battle for positions 33 – 48
….
….
The 16 losers of the first round of the eighth-ranked teams fight for positions 241 - 256
At the end of the head-to-head phase, in week thirteen, all 128 FINALs are played:
The final for first and second place
The final for third and fourth place
….
….
The final for 253rd and 254th place
The final for 255th and 256th place
International Cup – Selection of participants at the three levels Gold, Silver, Bronze
The fundamental concept of the International Cup is to compare teams of similar value.
Participants in the International Cup are assigned to the three levels Gold, Silver and Bronze based on two factors:
1) their position in the rankings in the recently concluded national championship
2) A parameter proportional to the number of active users in the national championship to which they belong and to the value of the teams participating in the national championship to which they belong
Note: Why isn't parameter two simply proportional to the number of active users in your country?
Answer: because if a nation has a rapid increase in membership, the average value of its teams will be low. In order not to inflate the Gold Cup with many low-level teams, we moderate the parameter by averaging it with a number that indicates the average value of the teams participating, for example, in the A and B series of that particular country.
I could be more precise in the math, but that's not important now.
Let's take an example, considering for the moment only the number of active users.
Let's take three examples: Poland, Argentina and South Africa
Poland has 1999 users, 22.95% of the total
Argentina has 402 users, 4.62% of the total
South Africa has 65 users, 0.75% of the total
Poland would participate
at the International Gold Cup with around 59 teams
to the International Silver Cup with approximately 352 teams
at the International Bronze Cup with approximately 2115 teams (including many BOTs)
Argentina would participate
at the International Gold Cup with around 12 teams
at the International Silver Cup with around 71 teams
at the International Bronze Cup with approximately 426 teams (including many BOTs)
South Africa would participate
at the International Gold Cup with around 2 teams
at the International Silver Cup with around 12 teams
at the International Bronze Cup with around 69 teams (including many BOTs)
This means that the Polish teams from the First Division (12), all the Polish teams from the second division (36), the 9 first-placed teams from the Third Division groups and the two best second-placed teams from the Third Division groups would participate in the International Gold Cup.
The other Polish teams from the Third Division (97) and 255 teams from the IV division would participate in the International Silver Cup, i.e. approximately up to the tenth place in each group. All other Polish teams would participate in the International Bronze Cup
Argentine teams from the First Division would participate in the International Gold Cup (12)
All the Argentine Second Division teams and the best 35 Third Division teams, i.e. those ranked from first to fourth place, would participate in the International Silver Cup. All other Argentine teams would participate in the International Bronze Cup
The top two South African teams from the First Division would participate in the International Gold Cup
All the other South African First Division teams and the best 2 Second Division teams would participate in the International Silver Cup. All other South African teams would participate in the International Bronze Cup
Conclusions
The three levels of the International Cup would allow all sokker teams to have exciting challenges every week against international teams of similar level.
Friendlies would become non-essential and we could improve the training level of our players.
At the end of each season we would read messages in the team's History like: the team ranked 73rd in the Tournemant 05 of the International Silver Cup. Everyone's dream would be to participate in the International Gold Cup, but it wouldn't be an impossible dream. In any case, everyone would participate in competitive international championships.
Teams from small nations would finally have a fun tournament to participate in.
In summary, everyone would be happy, and I'm a genius.
Help me make this dream a reality.
