Asunto: NT injuries - voting

national team matches should be like arcade matches, no injuries.

this was a rumour (or part of the rules?) in the early days of sokker, but there was no evidence that this influence really ever existed

It is already in the game, just so small that hard to observe.

Can we add another option? NT training and possible injuries but the player's owner has the option to block calling his player to NT.

In U21, additional training is great. But when it comes to a 28 or 31 years old player, NT is just one more chance to get injured.

@Raul can you pls tell us more about those compensations from option number 3? I mean, all of us know that the current market is crazy and sometimes you need to spend 5-10 mln euros to replace an injured player. Who will decide how much money you will get? It's kind of obvious that players have a bit different market value, so someone needs to assess and verify reasonable compensation.

For sure it cant be like milion euro for recompensation :) it could be like 2x player wage during the injury (NT federation is maintaining player treatment), but no idea why it should be more.

Well, not the best option then. I can afford my players' salaries (even if they are not playing), but buying additional players is far more problematic.
Let's assume your 3x unearthly striker is injured. Even if you're looking for players over 30 yo, you need to spend at least 5 mln euro :P

Option 2 is also an option that would remove any community around the NT whatsoever...

I voted for it, as it is the lesser evil of all current options

Paying like 5m euro in case that your player get an injury is nonsence to, i would buy few NT players just to count on nice bonuses from time to time :)
We cant give to strong benefits and make NT players to important - not everyone will have that kind of player.

Nobody wants to send their player skills to the national team coach because they are right, they don't want their players injured. That's why the national team coach cannot form an ideal team. There is no reason to play a national game in this way. then close the national teams. this way you can solve this problem

Because you offer them a lot of advantages. I'm split between option 2 and 3.
3 will create more fun and ambiance around the national teams

because the first two options remove training from the NT/U21, for small countries this is the nail in the coffin

Coz it is in contradiction to all the stuff that was written in other threads by You.
Also this is only way for guys dedicated to training smaller NT players to benefit in one way or another from it
