Asunto: Fans expectations
I have this strange situation, I'm suspecting a bug
Last season my supporter wanted to stay in the first half of the league, no promotion and no second place or playoff. I've obtained the playoff and I win it (max fan mood 6/6), and i've been promoted... and my fan mood DROP to 5/6.
Now, my opponent of the first match decided to train young players and I won 10-0.... the fan mood remain to 5/6, despite I had 11 new supporters on the fanclub. I have only 6 millions.
My suspect is that the checks about the final position (and the fan expectation fulfilling) has been done AFTER the promotion, so, despite I've been promoted, for my fan I've been in the second half of the league and now I have the permanent malus,
Am I right or not?

Fullfilling the expectations is not enough to make them love the club - it is rather in the middle of scale. Still, there is left a bit of old effect of last games too.
In the end Borkos is also right - you get sort of bonus when you are above or below expectations - but it is not added to your mood, it is an additional limit of mood drop or rise.
Example - i completly fail my expectations. That is why my supporters are mad, but i also have a -2 penalty for max mood for that season - even if i will win all games and be promoted they will be with 5/7 mood, not higher.
I don't think there's a bug, but it's bad communication again, really sad. Raul said on 16-03 that there will be a news soon to explain the new system and still nothing. New expectations obviously make it harder for established teams and some explanations - to help understanding it - would be so useful.

It’s not bad communication, it’s bad analysis at first.
If Raul take the time to ask and listen to game users he will find many answers and finally make better analysis in the end before any announcements. But the main problem, the problem of all problems, is still that’s devs or Raul didn’t not have enough times to do this and work on this game. Period.

I won my 2nd game at the league, and fans mood remains 4.
There has to be something broken, because if my team finishes in the bottom, next season the normal would be an update of the expectations.
I understand that we might have a new formula already implemented, but the set of expectations at the beginning of the season has to be improved.

2 Things I like to report here.
Maybe this point has already been said before, but I have the same ''bug''.
- My supporters are delighted, yet the line in the graphics stands on the 3th line, which means ''satisfied''
So, If this is just a graphical bug, no problem...but still it needs to be fixed somewhere in the future.
IF, on the other hand, the line represents the actual level of supporters and thereby my supporters mood is altered in a negative way, then it needs to be fixed asap imo...
I've won all there is to win so far, still in the cup, max points and I've been promoted just this season, so it's my first season in this division, so delighted should indeed be the least level it should be standing!
Now the 2nd point is maybe less important, but I feel it's only logical to adjust it.
I've never really looked into this, but now, with the graphic bug it fell on my eye...
So the worst level of fans is ''furious'', makes sence.
But then... 2nd worst level is ''losing hope'' and 3th is ''depressed''.
Imo, certainly because level 4 = ''believe in the club'', I think ''depressed'' should be 2nd worst and ''losing hope'' should be standing below ''believe in the club''
Being depressed is actually a consequence from losing hope in a psychological mindset. It makes a person not care about other things, so also for a fan, not caring about his club. It's imo worse than losing hope, which can easily be turned around with a series of good results. Being depressed is actually a state in which you don't care if the team is doing well or not, so it is in fact a worse state as losing hope. I know... not really important, but for game and the devs only a minor change, very easy to implement and more immersive and psychologically more correct.

I won 3 out of 3 possible games in the championship ( I lost last Cup round) and my fans are ... satisfied...

4/7 is a good mood for fans and all moods above are achievements above expectations...
It's apparently a new feature of the fan mood. Mood resets to 4/7 after each season and is then influenced by results on short term, but also on season expectations.

How does the money effect fan expectations? Is it only based on you current amount or are seasonal spending included into that aswell?
How do promotions/demotions effect the expectaions?
I see a lot us users, purposely losing games, droping tiers, to then compete and climb in lower leauges, is this being promoted/rewarded in this new system?
