Re_Ietto para Todos
I am Italian, but why are there only Italian players in my youth team? I would like to have the opportunity to grow talents from the countries I like most.
I propose the introduction of the scout figure into the technical staff.
Here's how it might work.
When the youth team opens, each team has five scouts. By default, the five scouts look for young players in the country where the team is based, as now.
However, the manager would have the option to 'assign' one or more of the five scouts to a different country.
For example: I would like to have young players in the team, let's say, German or Chinese. In this case, I select one of the scouts and tell him: from today you will work in Germany (this, if we want to add realism, could also have a weekly cost). From that moment on, I have a 20% chance that the young people joining the team that Saturday will be German. I can leave the other four scouts operating in my home country, or assign them to other countries, or perhaps all five to one country. Maybe I live in Italy but my family is German and I want to help the German sokker grow. Why not let me?
Advantages: - I can build my own self-produced team with players of the nationalities I prefer
- managers of nations with many teams can help the national teams of small countries. In the long term, there will be more balance and more variety
- it's easy to implement and fun

What do you think?

According to the announcement of the game developers, players from other countries will join our team's youth school. It was said that this would happen and we expect it to happen

So somewhere between 2025 weeks and 2026 weeks from now? :-p

It's a similar idea to the youth scouting system in Fifa... But every immersive idea should be supported! So +1 from me

A better system for youth player places should be the payment of youth coaches (more than 1) to increase the possibility to train x amount of youtj players.
Now you always pay 6k on top of all occupied places to make sure the max amount of possible new players is secured.
But it's stupid to pay for a "place". Better would to pay for a coach. Say you have 1 youth coach, then his coaching level decides how many players he can coach and his experience decides the training progress.
The higher the coaching skill and experience, the more expensive his wage is.
Then the scouts work in a similar way... scouting level decides the possible max amount of players and his experience decides the possible max of the player potential. Here again... the more you pay for better scout and exp level, the better your youth players CAN become. Also...the minimun level should be higher with better coaches, so you won't get tragic players anymore... I think it's fair to be able to pay more for better overall quality.

That's just giving an even bigger advantage to the big clubs who can afford it.

No, it's rewarding bigger clubs for investing in their club. If that's a bad thing, we better pull the plug out of the game.

Games already on life support, being carried largely by sunk cost of several thousand old users.

It's a bad thing to make the rich richer.

As far as pulling the plug, I'd welcome a clean reset. I'm already the 5th or 6th best team in my country, after only 3+ seasons. A clean reset and I'd probably crush everyone.
