Asunto: The Detriment of Bloated Football Rosters: A Call for Fair Play

This is my suggestion, which you will probably throw down the toilet, is to make more fair rules between rich teams and poor teams.
Must:
Limit the numbers of players in a squad. It doesn't exist in any football game or in the reality of having teams of 50 players, there are lists.
And then another smart thing would be the maximum salary cap per team
I won't continue this thread anymore because I see that you are quite closed off with new ideas to improve the game. Good luck to everyone, including me

I’d like you to point out anywhere in your statement reflects what I said? I simply said that in small countries the get less money on a weekly basis so you have to buy within your means. Nothing at all about any of the rest. Whatever translator you’re using look for another one. I was intentionally avoiding going down the route as it wasn’t the topic being discussed.

I don't think he gets much less in Italy than he would get in low leagues Romania or Poland.
Lowest leagues bring roughly the same money.

In reality there Are only regulatitions on how many you can register per season not how many you can own+train or Even loan out to get experience. So real life comparision dont hold.
Also it wouldnt have the effect you want. We Are many who have had different ideas for better startup, but this is useless imo

Probably not in that scenario. Italy is a reasonable sized user base that it would be comparable. I was more or less trying to support the notion that a squad limit doesn’t actually bring the gap between rich and poor teams closer, it actually does the opposite and then tried to elaborate further when even considering results and revenue streams that larger squads probably still don’t widen the gap. That was it. Nothing else. The last bit was just for completeness saying that you have to live within your means with whatever income streams you have whether that be a new team, in a league which doesn’t give the same revenue streams or if you are unfortunate to have limited access to the transfer market. No translation needed there. Pretty self explanatory. Obviously in top league of your own country as opposed to lower leagues of your country you have more revenue so can afford to pay for more things.
Whatever translator you’re using look for another one
English might not be my native language but you don't have to be petty or patronize me just because it's yours.
There are many advantages to play in a small nation but you prefer to focus in every topic about the sponsorship.
Whatever nation you play in, you make profit from trading, not sponsorship.

Again. No where in this thread have I directly even discussed about sponsorship here. Think you’re confusing myself with others. I only ever bring that up in certain threads like wanting merged leagues for example or in other things specifically talking about income.
Stop reading into things that aren’t there. I even doubled down on what I was trying to explain in this thread and you still choose to think it was about sponsorship.
Let’s be real here, your response was petty before my response was. At least mine was accurate

Guys, calm down! It all started because I didn't like managers with lots of players in their squad participating in auctions. That's all. Peace and love for the rest.
Yes, you can't have them hinder your bulk buying. How about limiting the number of players you can buy in a time span? Surely what you are doing now is 'maintain balance, foster better competition, and keep the game enjoyable for everyone involved'.
You have been in this game not even 3 months and you have bought 126 players. So, on average, you have bought 1.45 player a day (126/87). To paraphrase you again 'Why 126 players??? and maybe he took away a player that I could have bought and made him play'.
What happened with those players that could have been useful to another managers? Sure, those could have been worthless but again 'The players you claim are worthless are seen that way because (...). For me, however, those players are essential; they are the foundation to start from. Having them snatched away by these types of managers or seeing their prices rise is harmful to small managers'.
One more thing, apparently 'football rosters exceeding 25 players is a disgrace'. Currently you have 27.

brokenelevator You're like a curious cat.
I'm not stupid.
If the game allows some 'bullshit' like having a roster with more than 25 players, then I adapt too.
On Wednesday, I buy all players for 1 euro with 0 form, hoping that those with high form keep it.
Then I fire them on Thursday before paying their salary.
If the game allows this kind of 'bullshit,' I take advantage of it in my own way. What do you think?

Seems like you're wasting money. Players forms have nothing to do with other player forms going up or down :P
Well, I'd say nobody knows how this form actually works.
Anyway, if team form matters, i rather tend to believe it works the opposite way.

Curious cat? I don't know who are you referring to.
Anyways, you do you. I just, mostly, reflected what you wrote back at you.
What do I think? I think you are abusing the game with this 'bullshit' and that it is abysmal. Players that could have been useful to someone are trashed because of some unsubstantiated theory.
Is this helping the managers you are supposedly defending? You are just salty that you lost a bid but pretend you are a small team savior to be.

I'm late to this because I just haven't been keeping up with the forums, but holy cow I'm NOT rich and let me explain how foolish the OP's idea is.
10 trainees (for teams who simply train kids to sell - and fund their team that way - which is most) and 15 players to field 11 for 2 games a week is completely unrealistic. You're two long term injuries to starting XI away from disaster. I would know. Each and every season injuries to my strikers all but gimp what small chance I have at winning my league each and every season.
edit: Now I am seeing you are 3 months old. Dude you have no context over the long term for how this game will hose you with injuries. Just wait.

With this unfriendly attitude, you're discouraging managers from continuing with this fantastic game. Try to be more flexible if we want to see "the Sokker World" thrive and repopulate.
