Asunto: Smart substitution
- 1
Hi everybody, I know this is not the first time we talk sbout it but I hope it could be the right one.
Smart substitution means that the player from the bech plays with the role chosen on the bench and not with the role of the substituted player.
In this way, if I change my formation from 442 to 433 I can also change a mid with an att from the bench that will play as real att.
Today this is not in this way, we know that the player from the bench will play as mid and therefore performing bad as a mid (not skilled) and as an att too (he will try to pass the ball even if 17 in striker).
What about training then?
Easy, the player gets minutes in training only if the role set in the bench is the same of the player who leaves the field.
I can chose then: I want to train players or I want to play in a different way.
Does it work ?

And what about the limitation of 5/5/3 def/mid/att?
There would be a high risk of lost training, if this was then still valid.

The limitation on the starting 11 is confirmed in my idea.
You respect the 5/5/3 and your starting 11 will be trained. Players from the bench will be trained only if used in those roles.

nah, you get an unlucky game with many injuries, suddenly you don't have any ATTs left on bench, an ATT gets injured = replaced by 6th DEF = lost training = angry user
changing player order would be useful in terms of changing tactics, on the other hand it's an additional tactical exercise to make both tactics work and you have to make decisions one war or another

On the bench you have room for 2def, 2mid, 2 att and you can cover a lot of injuries.
Yes, let's make both tactic work;)

I dont know what many restrictions can bring this but we would be available to change tactic and then place a proper player with the proper order, for example redduce from 2 atts to 1 att, so we could use that extra mi as mid, just logic
also now with more games per week (specially if they includde an extra international tournament), teams wouldd need to get more players -> add more bench slots -> more tactical options -> add more options of tactics
I dont know if majority would use this but I hope this improvement wont cost much to implement

Imo this idea is only good if the training gets disconnected from the orders. And tbh, connecting training with order on the pitch is ridiculous. Only TD and maybe form should be connected with order. Let a player play in it's preferred order and his form should then generally be higher than if he plays in a foreign order then what he's used to play.
And in that case, this idea will work like a charm!
