Conservatism is not unique to Sokker. Some have no interest in changing, so yes, it's a crime to ruin their business.
"Tiny changes" have a better chance of being suitable for more users; plus, it's easier to achieve.

Borkos and adaca seem to believe change is always bad.

wow, what a generalisation - we think that your idea is bad, so we believe that change is always bad, makes total sense, just like your idea

ok, let's look at your great idea in detail

U21 should be youth and within youth I think having 2 youth squads would be great. One U18 and one U21.

so instead of having (usually bought) 16-21yo players in main team and training them, they would stay in every clubs academy until they are 21, divided into 2 teams [16-18 and 19-21) where you could choose how you want to train them, yes?

in other words nobody can buy a good trainee and has to rely ONLY on players that he gets into youth school from 16 to 21 and in main team he can train only 22yo players or older

that would make the game COMPLETELY random because training young players is the most important aspect for most teams, especially new ones - you can buy a cheap 16/17yo and turn him into a beast

your idea would kill that, every team would rely only on luck in the most important part of training because you could only train what you get - and you can get numerous TOP players, while you can get total, worthless garbage for SEASONS in a row - for example during last 7 months [2 seasons] I got only 1 player that was "sellable" - I've got 1.5k euro for him. and you think that it's a good idea that teams would have to train only total garbage for months or years while waiting for 1 or 2 good trainees that would have any value? that would help the game in your eyes?

how would that work for new / poor teams that are unable to afford a youth school and a half-decent youth coach? you would expect them to train garbage 22yo+ players that they could afford and get barely any profit for training them?

or does your idea include being able to sell & buy players for u18/u21 teams? I hope not because that idea would be even more terrible
