We play once again against Norway.

we know how they play. They know how we play... I didn't want to get them again, cause it is quite uncomfortable to play with your group's opponent right in the 1/8

It's stupid that teams from same group can play each other again in the 1/8 finals...
Anyway, on paper it's maybe the best we could get, but so far Norway are playing really well and i'm sure it will be a hard one..

apart from our match there are also Germany and Poland's match just like ours...they play against same teams from their group...

For me would've been easier to get Argentina or Brasil than Norge

On paper Norway is weaker than them, but tacticly Norway manager is one of the best in the cup (and in charge in Norway for almost ever i think..;-) so it depends how you look at it, a better team with stronger players or a weaker team with a better manager..

I always like to play against a better team with weaker manager... but the real test is against top coaches!

Personally i consider Lorre strong, neuro the same...also strong, and I was amazed to see the match won against him. But Srbija for instance has a weak coach, afraid of opponents, not flexible tactically... Same I can say about Spain :)



For me a match at NT level is like war and when i remember battles I remember those at World War II: Players are just resources and soldiers. The coach is the general and it all depends on him, how he makes the strategy, how he exploits the weaknesses of his opponents and forces up his own strong points. So hopefully in my third "battle against same general" victorious will be Ice with his army :) And besides, don't forget Israel has the best tanks in the world: Merkava 4 So they should fear'em :D

Tonight I had a dream. Linked with sokker:

At 11:28 when i connected to sokker i saw the scores of WC 1/8 finals.

All i remember was :

Eesti winning 1-0, with a goal scored on minute 37
Norge 1-2 Israel

bizzare but: Suomi 3-1 France, though France was written in Bold(as a winner)


I hope this dreams becomes true :)

Congratz on a great game anyway. We both bettered our tactics from last game and it was as close as it gets. I see you had a few more shots but those we had was huge (not in sokker maybe) one on one opportunities.

About the penalties: I seriously think that it is random when it comes to penalties & is doesn`t matter whoever player takes it. Superdivine strikers miss them all the time and a mid with poor scoring is hitting the net so it`s a lottery anyway.
It`s not our fault & as we were leading a rematch would be unfair the other way. Well well sad to have a victory shadowed but such a dumb thing.

You are right mate, was a great match and you had the better chances to win it (i bet you got really angery in the 90th minute with that one on one miss..;-).
