Ice-T [del] para Todos
Hello everyone. I decided to take part of these elections, on the post of NTC Israel.

Some of you may know me, but most of you don't so here goes my speech with some info about the dude in front of the PC.

My name is Silvano, i'm almost 21. Studying at IMI-NOVA (International Institute of Management with links to dutch, french, italian, greek universities), my major is Business&Administration and currently enjoying my time in USA.

Here in Sokker I'm present since 10 august 2006. So I've spent some time here and know the game very well( Tutor position confirms that). At the moment I'm finishing my job at NT Russia. I've been coaching this National Team for 3 consecutive seasons. I will make public my performance with Russia. As most of you know Russia isn't a strong team like Israel. It is a lot weaker, but still strong.
In my first season Russia took part of MiniWC were unfortunately i got only to the semi-finals,even though there were a lot of strong teams. Of course the team won the group stage with 9 points. In the knock-out stage the team won against Australia(who at that time was a bit stronger) than got a convincing win against Bosnia while playing the whole match in 10 men. You can check the match by clicking on THIS LINK. But in the end had a cursed match against Peru and lost 3-4 in a hard battle, because Peru has superior strikers. This season was a friendly season, so the only important event was MWC. A good preparation for me for the second season where the WCQ took place.
By clicking on THIS LINK you will see the final positions plus what opponents I had. To be honest when the draw took place even the russian community was skeptical that I can achieve success against France and Germany, but in the end I managed to qualify the team, but with a bit of bad luck couldn't finish on first position, was 1 point behind Germany. By having a short bench with this NT, I couldn't be that flexible in tactics as I wanted to be, so it was hard to make great tactic to surprise these 2 monster opponents.(except the mindgames I like to play with my rivals at NT) I'd like to present you the links to those matches that granted me participation at World Cup:

Russia 2-2 Germany Here the german team was lucky this match ended in draw for them.

Russia 2-1 France A trully deserved win.

In the second leg, I had a backbeat against Germany, while winning 3-0 on min 18 I lost 6-3 in the end. And the second game against France lost 6-1. The only match I consider punishment for my only error as NTC so far. In this second leg I got enough points to secure the second place and in the friendlies I used almost only youngsters and still got good results against stronger opponents like Serbia, Turkey, Uruguay, Argentina etc.

Finally in the last season Russia as an underdog and one of WCQ surprises participated at World Cup. I got a hard group with Argentina, Colombia and England, last 2 with great coaches. In the first match i conceded 4 goals due to a injury and no subs available(all used). In the second match I won against Argentina 1-0. You can check the match here: LINK. In my last match against England i had same backbeat as vs Germany. I was winning 2-0 but got beaten 6-2. After the WC I just played friendlies, and still continuing my mindgames so IF i get my chance at Israel NT the rivals will have problems anticipating what tactics I may use, while i anticipate the opponents tactic really well. (thats why I play lately with same tactic).

I guess you all are tired reading all this stuff so the end is near:

Tactically I am very flexible. I can play absolutely any type of tactic, plus I'm not ashamed or embarassed to say I may prepare a specific match not alone but with some of my friends who are great tacticians very known in Sokker. Like Phil_Fox85, Loczenty(WC winner), Gaudin(CC winner), etc.

I had a good performance with a good NT, that has a short bench, now I may have the opportunity to train a NT that is at World Class Level. So at last I will be free to use my tactic ideas and creativity. I know quite well the squad of Israel NT as I have a good understanding with Anaconda who may help me in case of something in the future, cause he coached this NT for a long time and know the team best.

I know you all expect performances like anaconda's , so the pressure here will be great, and I really like that. So I'm looking forward to Coach Israel, to play with top players and hopefully make history with this NT.

Hopefully You will vote me and give me a chance to show you that I don't just say stuff, I'm really making performances! Also thanks for your attention, guys!

1. What do you think are the weaknesses in Israel NT?

2. What do you think is the strongest part in the NT? can you explain why? (if you think there is a reason for that)

3. What are your goals for next season?

4. What is more important to you:
Only rankings rankings rankings or giving a chance to young potentials (in friendly matches) in some Ux matches and thinking about the future also?

5. What is your "dream" in sokker? win the WC? manage Poland? manage your country seniors NT? other?

Thanks and good luck
:-)

1. What do you think are the weaknesses in Israel NT?

I don't have a perfect knowledge in israeli players but what I know, they are top class. maxed strikers, maxed GK's, great defense, great midfield. I'd just make an estimation that the potential weakness may be some missing secondaries or some secondary skills not that high

2. What do you think is the strongest part in the NT? can you explain why? (if you think there is a reason for that)

I consider the strongest part in any NT is the coach. I can explain by linking to my experience with NT Russia: Good players, an average+ NT, very short bench. Got'em to World Cup and almost qualified from groups. A good performance for a POT 3 team.

3. What are your goals for next season?

The Main Goal: Qualify Israel to the Final Stage of World Cup. Of course as a bonus I'd like to have zero recieved goals, only wins. The goal about friendlies is to use as many youngsters as possible. I am coach that wants to be sure the future generations get their chances and get experience plus bonus for training.

4. What is more important to you:
Only rankings rankings rankings or giving a chance to young potentials (in friendly matches) in some Ux matches and thinking about the future also?

Well at the moment Israel is in a great Pot: nr1. Almost in top 10 which is a great performance made by anaconda. I can assure you that at least I'll try to keep Israel on the same rank, and pay more attention to the young players, cause in a little community(i mean you don't have 1000+ users) it is vital to try and secure the NT with promising future stars.

5. What is your "dream" in sokker? win the WC? manage Poland? manage your country seniors NT? other?

My dream in Sokker is to win the World Cup with my home country. But that is trully impossible. So a real dream may be : Win the World Cup with any NT, in this case Israel

Wanna thank you for questioning me, hopefully you all will like the answer, and somehow persuade you to vote me.

Cheers!

I see there is a lot of activity on legiona's and cricri's topics, but not here. Am I that weak as a candidate?! Or everything is clear?! :)

If you guys have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me. I will clarify everything so you can take your decision more objective.

I am looking forward for your questions.

1. Israel
2. Srbija
3. Hellas
4. Guatemala
5. El Salvador
6. Daehan Minguk

So this is the group for the next WCQ edition. I'd like to make a short "review" of these opponents. Serbia is definitely strong NT, who will be coached IMHO by majti_orion. The difference between Israel and Serbia isn't that big, in fact they are very close to each other by strength and also ranking. If Israel won't have bad luck like additonal injuries and red cards, I see this match won by Israel. For instance I already played against Serbia with Russia, even though it was an under match, i consider that this match should be won by 2 goals difference at least.

Next team is Greece. Imho the enxt coach will be Snake_sd. Greece has a very nice team, and is a strong opponent from pot 3,still I'm glad Israel didn't get Sweden, cause it would be a bit harder to play against them. Greece doesn't have a long bench plus they aren't much tactically flexible(usual issue for a 3rd pot team). So here is a clear advantage for Israel except the technical one(players). A match that can cause small problems for the keeper, but finally won by Israel with 3-4 goals difference.

Guatemala is a team I've played against at WCQ with Russia and I must say their coach was good back then, a match that can be put in "demolition match" category. Same goes for other 2 rivals. In those matches the team needs to score as much as possible to have a great goal difference.

I guess I'm done with this small evaluation of the group. If there appear any issues or questions please address them.

i consider that this match should be won by 2 goals difference at least.

Against Serbia, is an 1,X,2 game, anything can happen. Next coach should pay great attention.
2011-06-25 15:49:49
will you play some U24 matches?
even in case of losing some GD?
2011-06-25 15:58:37
Yeah, I agree it is slightly unpredictable, but with a good preparation('paying great attention') and some effort made by the future coach, this match should be won.
2011-06-25 18:09:08
In official matches I'm going to use the best players available, the subs shall be u23(4), but I won't field weaker players just cause they are young in official matches. In matches against Guatemala, El Salvador and South Korea the subs shall be youngsters only, maybe to use U24 in defence(it all depends what skills have those U24 players) So I can't be certain at the moment.

Just to clarify: For me is more important to secure a better position for the NT, than I can think about youngsters. Still as I said in my speech, I'll play as many youngsters as possible in friendlies.

Guys, after reading carefully on your topics what happened here, I'm a bit disappointed that the elections go that way. Imho we should keep the elections spirit high and positive. So after cricri and legiona left the elections I saw I had 6 votes. Sevvol has at least 1 vote.

So I want to thank and say I really appreciate that you gave me those votes.. So thanks for the votes. I wish the elections end in the same way(with an advantage to Ice :) )

Good luck !

Thank you everybody for being confident and voting me. I will do all my best to keep up all the good work made by the last coach and try to prove you that you've made the right decision. It is a great achievement for me as a user to start a NT that gets 70+ than move to a 75+ team. Looking forward for a great season :)

ps just got home from the ocean. sunburned:) so today(for me tomorrow) I'll stay the whole day home and prepare the friendly schedule and getting the updates for players. Even with a down NTDB there shouldn't be problems preparing this first match that is extremely important.

Cheers!
