2018-04-06 Friendly - WEEK 1

España U21 4 : 0 Israel U21

We started our season against the strong selection of Spain, in preparation for the World Cup dispute they asked us to play with the U21 team, we started the game well, but after we were very pressured the tactics did not work very well, I think the strategy prioritizing the defense ended up leaving our team very back, we had some chances but we did not convert them into goal.

Our second game was also against a very strong squad, we played with our U20 team against Brazil U20 in preparation for next season, it was a great game, we pressed a lot at the beginning of the game, I chose a more offensive formation, with our players scoring in the adversary field and our early defense playing on the line of impediment, we managed to get in the goal a few times but we could not score, our goalkeeper was very well too, it was a good result taking into consideration the levels of the teams.

In week 03 we began our participation in the amistos tournament (Mini World Cup U20), we were drawn to play against the selection of Andorra commands by the Coach Pikachu, for this game we went with a significant embezzlement, our best striker was injured, but we played well, we had several chances to score, or the advesario also had some chances but our goalkeeper once again was very well, a victory close but enough to qualify for the next phase of the tournament.

After a scare at the beginning of the game, Dominican Republic started the game well taking advantage of the chances opening 2x0 on the scoreboard early on, but Israel showed its strength and still in the first time got the turn with 3 goals of our scorer Saloman, with this victory we qualified for the next phase of the MWC tournament.
