Asunto: [U21] Islander

Hello everyone!

I am interested in becoming the national coach for your country's U21 side. Your senior team has a fantastic local candidate so he should definitely get a chance to run the senior team.

I've only been around 3 seasons, but I'm already one of the better teams in USA A league, finishing 4th this season and 9-2 during the last rotation despite giving up years and in some cases decades of advantage to my opponents. I did play this game way, way, back in the early seasons. Throughout last season I put together several different formations, including 3232, 433, 442D, 442, 532 depending on the opponent and injury situation. I feel like with smaller countries with less resources being able to be just a bit creative with lineups can sometimes be beneficial. The one thing that keeps me active and coming back to sokker is the ability to design tactics.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity. I've already been talking to DIDIz and I think it's very important to develop youth into future NT players. They have a much longer future with the senior NT if developed properly as youth. That is what I want to work with him to help organize.

Well, I threw every random trick I could at Brasil today and none of it worked. Brasil beat us 6-0. Tactically the first half was fine, they just keep breaking the tackles of our inferior defense while being faster. Second half I knew it was over as soon as they did a mirror on the other wing (leaving him wide open). He didn't do that in our first match. I need to recover and find a way to pull an upset against Peru next week.

Well, this was a game we should have won, but Buzaglo laid an absolute stinker today. Bouron tried his best to carry.

The entire game, despite having 5 defenders, saw Peru's players outrun us to every loose ball. All the defense, playmaking, passing, and scoring mean nothing if you can't get to the ball. Our future prospects, especially the young ones, need to get pace hammered into them early on.

This was probably our best shot at qualifying. Now we're going to have to somehow upset Portugal and get lucky. Sorry, guys.

Additionally, I've cleaned up sokker assisente so many of you have gotten emails from me if you have a current/future Israel NT player (age 17-19).

I'll be ready to transition the team over after this Cup is over for us.

Anyway, great game with your great tactics. You have nothing to apologize for, our NT is weak and you did your best. I think that a national team coach should be tested after 3/4 seasons, as far as I'm concerned, if you decide to continue next season as well to build the squad for the following campaign, you have my vote.
You do an excellent job in the team beyond managing the game!

Today we played Mexico's U21 team. With a few 21 year olds re-integrated into the lineup, we got a well earned draw with them:

Dov Netanyahu scored in the 27th minute for Israel. It was his first goal for the national team!
Both teams had chances to win the game in the late second half. Mexico's team speed was superior to ours, but the game was fairly balanced despite it.

Mexico's U21 team is ranked 27th in the world.

We are facing Singapore in the Asian Cup tomorrow. Should be a good game (for us :) )

- Today's game began with an early goal in minute 4 from Levi Matiko.

- Matiko followed it up with his second goal at minute 13.

- Ehrud Dorani scored just two minutes later to extend the lead to 3-0 Israel.

At halftime, it was Israel 3, Singapore 0.

- Matiko completed his hat trick in the 77th minute, and the lead grew to 4.

- Matiko decided three wasn't enough, so he added a fourth goal late off a rebound from a Gershon shot, getting us to our final result, Israel 5, Singapore 0.

Next week we face top seeded Australia, but we've already clinched a spot out of the group stage.

Today we faced Australia, and despite having a man advantage the entire game due to a red card in the 4th minute (fortunately for Australia, it was in a good location) we still got dominated, 2-0.

If you guys watch the game, it's the same old story. We're too slow, especially on defense, and we're too poor in tech. These match scores get inflated by primary skills like defense, playmaking, and passing...but we can't make plays if we lose every 50/50 - or don't even get there to begin with. They must have had 5 clean runs at the goalie one on one because our defense is still too slow. Even the 21 year olds. I've built my own personal team the opposite and although they will take a little longer to peak, they are already in USA ML and this is after just a year (3 full seasons). Three of my six core trainees are starters at this point.

I understand everyone's obsession with main stat training, but I'm of the belief it just generates artificially high match ratings (except for goalkeepers).
I also am still waiting for Gershon to break out, he's in superdivine form but still doesn't produce :(

Ah well, we'll get as far in the playoffs as we can, but there's not a whole lot more I can do if we can't beat Australia with 10 men.
