I wish you a full recovery as well!

I'm committed haha. It's just mobile access. We're signed up for both the Druid Cup and the Aaian Cuo this season.
Recovery is going pretty well so far. May be going home in 12 hrs.

No. It just doesn't make any sense to play 21 year olds in a friendly.
I'm just surprised, that's all.

I'm home and back on the case.
So, philosophically I am off the mindset that Israel needs as much of a clean slate as it can be given. This is why I am not interested in U21 matches. 21 year olds aren't helping us next season.
They won't help us at all because I need guys who are ready to qualify next World Cup the season after this. It's a huge goal but what else is there?
This may result in some rank point loss, last week's U21 vs U20 match was an eye-opener for me (since I am still naive to this whole NT ecosystem).
I am figuring out the Cup stuff now, but am thinking Mama Mia and Asian Cup. Those don't contradict each other. I understand people in the Asian Cup will use 21 year olds. Whatever.

Friendly matches in national teams dont entitle the player to extra training, only in official matches, so it isnt so bad even if you play with the 21 year olds
Ha, and there's something else I didn't know. Thanks for explaining. Now it makes more sense.
We played Ecuador today, and despite them using 21 year olds in numerous places (we were all U20) we only lost 1-0.

On that note, as you see in previous posts..there's a LOT I'm learning the hard way in regards to the NT infrastructure. We'll use some 21 year olds going forward, but not many. There's still experience to be had. Plus, I really don't care about these results, I'm more interested in getting a better understanding of the players in matches, relative to their attributes. I've found that some players - form regardless - play better than they should --> and some who are in high form play poorly anyway.
We are just registered for the Asian Cup this offseason - again, more confusion on how these tournaments and their timings work out. I will worry about those results and treat those as if it were the Cup qualifiers. Being in the hospital for a week didn't help (although it was for a GREAT cause :) )

So we get a forfeit win against China this week. he actually sent an invite at about 3am my time, but by the time I saw it a few hours later, he ducked out and took an invite to play Cameroon.
We'll play a friendly with Mexico this weekend :)
