Asunto: [NT] Australia - Island

HI,

we will start the Mini World Cup this weekend and we will face Australia first.

We could have got an easier start but i will do my best of course.

Unfortunately our best defender Dybdal has a red card as well... I will come back later this week with some more information around the match.

I liked reading you posts. What I suggest is (you don´t have to do like that) to use one thread - Næsti landsleikur- for NT matches. There will be only few posts in every NT match.

You're pretty lucky, Australia has a very very weak team except for the one striker called Byers.

And Byers plays in sokkers weakest team managed by an unknown manager ;D

Ok, the tactic and the squad is fixed by now. I am going for victory of course but australia is a good team so it will be though. I will be on the road tomorrow so i cant watch the match live... but i will be online later in the evening.

Take it as we are playing with 5 strikers :D

I'd say it's a satisfying first match!
Australia is the best opponent in this group, the most important match is against South Africa! If you win it, then you're through I'd say! ;-)

Well thanks for the game. I was pretty worried right through the whole game and even before hand. I don't know if I like how your mids can tackle though :p.

Your NT is a lot stronger than ranking points would suggest given you have a rather strong defense.

OK, i am on-line again and i watched the match.
It was close to a real success but we lost in the end... still I am proud of the boys, they did a very good performance today showing their new Captain that they know how to play football :D

We played a much stronger team and my defence was set to take their winger Willis wich isn´t that easy... he is marvellous i would say.

Someone, don´t know who was yelling about Byers, was he playing?

Now we will look forward and give South Africa a hard time!
