Asunto: U21 friendly's
Today we are playing our first match in the Mini World Cup against Hellas.
Hellas is currently 35th on the world ranking which makes them the favorites of Group E. We are clearly the underdog against Hellas.
We are still missing Unnsteinn Elísson on the midfield due to a slight injury.
Freybjörn Yngvarsson and Henrik Eysteinnsson, never played for Island U21 are on the bench.
The game will be played in the Hellas Arena.

As expected, we lost against Hellas.
But I think Iceland played a nice game. We ended the game with 9 players.
We have not made it easy for Hellas.

Against New Zealand, Kristbjörnsson been suspended but is also the only striker at a good level. Furthermore, we still do not count on Jón Haukur Sigurbjörnsson and Þórir Arnfinnsson due to injuries. It will be difficult to put an other striker on the field who can perform well.

After the defeat in the 1/8th finals of the Mini world cup last week, we will play against Andorra today.
Andorra is a small country in southwestern Europe, located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains and bordered by Spain and France. Its capital, Andorra la Vella, is the highest capital city in Europe.
Andorra is 83th on the world ranking, so we are favorites today.
We are missing 2 important players today. Our best player Björn Friðbjörnsson (Defmid) and one of our best defenders Gísli Bjarnarsson are still injured.

The biggest problem for iceland is the midfield, no players with high passing level.
To finish with some good news, Kolbeinn Baldursson will become a great striker.
I keep working on the good training program of the future NT players, so we have a stronger team in a few seasons.

Icelands goalie was quite nervous today... couple easy goals. You were also unlucky with those through balls.
Opponent had better midfield, but like you said - Iceland strikers were very dangerous when they got the ball.

Today we are playing against U20 Portugal. They reached the 1/4 finals on the last WC where the where eliminated against Spain by losing 0-8. I expect they will play an attacking tactic. It will be a hard game for Iceland.
We will play with our strongest available team.

Tumi Garðarsson has a bad form and will be replaced by Knútur Þorbergsson.
Still have some issues I have to solve before the game.
In the defence I have to make a choice between Ögmundur Gabríelsson or Knútur Fannason. Knútur is the best player but his form is low.
Also have to chose between Kolbeinn Baldursson and Leifur Kristbjörnsson as striker.
