Good result against toughest opponent in our group. They had +10 better average marks and that's why I am very pleased with the tie.

Opponent had 12 shots and good opportunities, but also our star striker Eysteinsson had couple amazing opportunities to score. Our goalie Ingþórsson played amazing game today!

Czech has now played two games without scoring and without conceding any goal.

Next Indonesia!

Group A: Ísland - Indonesia

Last Mini WC group match against Indonesia and we need at least draw to qualify.

Indonesia is better than their current ranking shows. They have over 70 avg. marks.

Elisson comes back in starting lineup. Our biggest loss is Eysteinsson - who is currently injured. We have good strikers to bring in - Baldursson, Randversson and our oldest "talisman" Yngvarsson. :)

0-3 defeat and we didn't make it. Opponent was better this time.

Today was not the best performance, but you did a good tournament!

Friendly: Cuba - Ísland

Because we dropped out from Mini World cup competition I have decided to use our young NT players in these friendlies.

That's why our game can struggle a bit, but we must remember to develope Íslands next generation aswell. We see what happens... but I am very concerned about our midfield in these younger age groups between 22 to 27 years! It seems that in future Ísland must use tactics that don't need midfielders - only some kind of attacking defenders, full backs and strikers.
