Dear Ísland Friends,
The World Cup Qualifiers, which have gone down in history, are behind us. We were 4th again (we were drawn from the 4th pot). We missed one point to 3rd place. It was not a bad season for us. We promoted to the 63rd place in the World ranking and we are close to the record-breaking 1,200 points. In the last match, we achieved a record average mark of 52.8. This is history. Now I have to focus on the next WCQ. My goal for the upcoming season is to keep the team in the fourth pot (TOP 68) as well as to improve the skills of the young Icelandic players. After the training reform, I am going to train the 10 most talented Icelanders in my club so that they give the National Team the best. Working for Ísland U21 is a great pleasure and honor for me and I would like to continue it.

A successful season of friendly matches is behind us. We won 7 matches, lost 4 matches - goals 30:11. We were 63rd in the world ranking before the season and now we are 58th. We have about 150 ranking points more than before the season. Many players under 20 played in friendly matches, who will represent us in the next World Cup qualifiers. Next Saturday there will be a draw for the WCQ - we will be in the 4th pot. I would like to continue my work with Ísland U21 and develop NT U21 further.

Dear Noteboom, Jonas, EinarJur,
After 6 seasons spent with you, it's time to say goodbye. These were great seasons for me and a very valuable experience. The collaboration with Noteboom, Jonas and EinarJur was exemplary. The success that Ísland U21 has achieved was thanks to you. I have new challenges ahead of me, I am running in the USA U21 elections, where I will try to rebuild this team. I still have two friendlies ahead of me in Ísland U21, where I will test some new players and I will want to win. I would like Siwykoks to become the new coach of Ísland U21, I trust him and I will be happy to help him enter the Ísland U21 NT.
