I am feeling a lot better, than I did yesterday.
In last 3-4 days I have lost 4kg - mostly I have been eating different pills.

Thatks for the game - good effort by your side. Allthough I did put on some reserves for today, you looked by far a better team than Denmark played last saturday (Macedonia). Good luck in your WC qualifiers.

It was pretty funny and interesting match as well. Too bad we didn`t score - although our star Thorsen had some chances.

Island defense played well - I am satisfied 100%. There was nothing to do to stop you scoring those 2 goals.

Tomorrow we will play away friendly against Eesti.
It will be U21 match, therefore I can`t use couple players I want.
Country has 697 users and is currently the number 15th national team in the world.
We have played them once - we lost 0:8.
Their strikers were very accurate and used every chance they got, also my tactics wasn`t
the best one. Tomorrow I hope we can surprise them. My aim is to score at least on goal.
Borkos, the Eesti NT manager scares to reveal the line-up:) As I can see he is going to

Estonia was too big bite for us.
Their young players are really good compared to us. For example Norman Oidermann - basically one of the best 20y mids in the world. Defenders are also great.
We had some chances to score, but in some moments our strikers were thinking too long.
We deserved at least a goal. But Eesti used every chance he got. This is the difference between smaller and bigger nations in Sokker.
Island doesn`t have many users, therefore less players than other nations.
Most of Island users are unfortunately unactive as well.

yea i understand ive found that smaller countries gets rocked by the big countrys

i also want you to no i didnt say that in mean way just wanted u to no that.

im in full support of the Island NT i have a island player as you no ofcourse not on the NT but, i like to see what the island players have to show to the game but, ur doing better then other NT coaches of the smaller countrys

Tomorrow we have a away U21 friendly against Norge. It will be a difficult match, but I am hoping to surprise them with my CRAZY tactics. How weird or crazy it is, we will see it tomorrow afternoon:)
You will also see some new faces playing their first international match. For example
Valtýr Guðbjartsson is going to make Island Sokker history - the youngest player in NT, who will play 30 minutes.
Normally Gissur Olgeirsson protects our goal, but tomorrow Veigar Sigursteinnsson
will get his chance. There is a small change in defense aswell. Atli Már Johnsson will make his debut by playing the second half.

We played well today. As you can see I used very risky tactics. I think I should have put my defenders even higher.
We pushed during the 90 minutes. Scored 1 goal, had a super chance to take a lead on 86th min, but Runolfsson hit the post. Sad result. Norway scored their goals from very expected situations. When using this kind of tactics, then opponents usually score from one on one situations. And they did.

i like this tactic except 2 of the defenders should be put higer and if icelandik defender has more pace a lot more pace then this will be very good tactick becous then the defender can run the opp. op when the get past the defens line

I have used this tactics in my league matches many times before. It is really important to know your opponent. If your opponent has great strikers and you have weak defenders, then this tactics might be pretty useless.

What do you mean by 2 defenders should have been higher? Kristinn Sturlaugsson and Viðar Sæmundsson?

If so, then they were mids. I didn`t want to use them higher, at least Sæmundsson.
I wanted too have situations where many players (at least 2-3) would be around the ball all the time. Because some of our defs have low tech (which is really important), if the the ball should bounce off our defender, then someone else could take the ball and pass it away.
And about tech. I was pretty disappointed to see our last goal. Dybdal wasn`t able to own the ball, it bounced from him to Norwegian striker who used this chance.
And still Dybdal has excellent tech.
But thanks for your opinion. These are really needed to give me new and better ideas.

Tomorrow we have an U-21 match against Israel. It will be my last match as Island NT manager..at least the last one for this time. I think I will run for this job next season again.
