Well the first half was great...then something (stamina) happened and it got wrong...but nice tactics anyways

Our next opponent is Eesti - any ideas how we can beat them?:)

Unfortunately Eistland has better players than us. Defenders are awesome, but their weakness is striking. Some strikers are fast, but tech is not high, probably the best one has formidable technique - unluckily this is good enough to go through some of our defenders.

At the moment he isn`t nothing special, but if the right team(couple candidates in eesti and one in Italy) should buy him, then he will be a star.

edit: Not to mention the fact that owner gets very good price for him.

Best GK: Martin Naaris Magical keeper - good news to us, he is in bad shape.

Best DEF: Uku Mäeorg The best defender in Eesti, he is divine.

Best MID: It is hard to pick the best one, in my opinion there are no star mids in Eesti. All are equal.

Best ATT: Tarmo Naarits Probably the best striker in Eesti, luckily he has low stamina. Striking, pace and tech should be all on equal levels.

I call this match "Mission impossible" - Last match against Österreich we scored 2 goals, but if we can make 2 shots on a goal against Eesti and keep them under 5 goals, then I could be pleased.
Of course I want to win and I am doing everything I can - my tactic is almost ready, I have done it for 4 days already.

Eesti finished 3rd place in World Cup Qualification phase, not to mention the fact that their average rating was the best in group C - 52,5!!! Quite scaring, isn`t it:)

Eesti`s strength is in defence. Defenders are fast and with high defender skill.
Midfielders are all quite equal and young, no stars there. Eesti manager prefers def skill for mids, so it`s hard to go through them.
Striking is the weakest point for Eesti.
Our strikers are with high striking skill and with low pace and tech, but lately it has started to change. Now they have some fast and technique strikers aswell - for example Tarmo Naarits.

Sillu likes to play defensively and I think he isn`t going to use more than 2 strikers. maybe he is going to use same tactic like in last match. We will see, i will keep my eye on Eesti forum.
One of Eesti`s strikers is also injured - so good news to us, but unfortunately our mid Gerður Petersson is injured again and I also can`t use Ásgrímur Viggósson. So bad new to us.

About today`s match.

Our tactic was ok, in my opinion very good. Even some users in Eesti told that. We lost, because Eesti has better players, it`s simple as that. 24h before the match my tactic for today was little bit different. I was planning to go with on striker and with one offensive winger, who plays has high on the pitch as the striker. Out I changed my tactic, because I do not have a fast and technic winger. I really like to use them.

The bigger problem is that the new tactival discipline makes weak national teams even weaker. Defenders are the biggest problem in this area.

One more thing, we almost score a goal.
Jón Ingi Emilsson was the guy made great head shot, but unfortunately we did not score.
Bent Thorsen made me smile today, because my exdefender Taimo Janno, which i sold week ago, didn`t take ball behind from Thorsen. If this guy would be faster, then I could do miracles.

Next week we are playing against Sverige.

My third match as NT manager.
The weakest opponent so far. Ranked 49 in the world. So I am hoping to get at least a draw. If we get lucky, then even a win.

Swenden team players are all kind of equal, no star players, maybe except dangerous striker Kalle Rand. Just by looking plyers value, then defenders should be outstanding-brilliant, so it is a good news to us.

I am going to use 442 formation. Putting all my cards to our strikers. I will use two strikers and one mid behind them. Sweden weakness is in central defenders, trying to score my goals there. I will not use any wingers, because only winger we have is injured.

To be honest, i am really pissed of due to the result.
Losing 4:1 after a match like this isn`t a food feeling.
The beginning of the match was like a dream. Great team work from our strikers and we went ahead on minute 3. After that we had also a great chance to score, but unfortunately we missed.
We got a penalty when 10 minutes were played. Sad, sad...a missed chance.
When you do not score, then your opponent will. They scored 4 consecutive goals. 3 of them thanks to Kalle Rand - he just went through Thomasson and he did that 3 times and scored. That really pissed me off. They won thanks to one guy.
We had some chances at second the half - that was positive.

Too bad i didn`t put my strikers little bit higher. In tactics screen they were higher, but on the pitch they were playing quite low. Overall I satisfied with the tactics, but not with the result - we deserved at least a draw.

As U said, the start was great by Island but we were stronger in the end.

Our players have low stamina. Maybe this was the problem.

Next week we are playing against Russia, hoping to get my first win - although Russia has played longer.
