Our forth world cup qualification match will be held against Deutschland (Germany), who at the moment is second in our group and the 16th in the world ranking. Their average team rating through previous rounds has been scary 63,6. We have played them once in the past. It was a friendly, when looser was the NT manager.

So what do expect from this match?
I guess everybody know, that win will be unrealistic, they are just too strong. Germany is better in every position. But my aim is to score at least one goal, mostly it depends on our strikers, who have been off in this season.
In goal, Germany have at least unearthly Gabriel Kunze, who should be very fast aswell.
I guess all their defenders should be comparable with our Even Dybdal. They have at least
four players like him in defense. On midfield Claudius Reinhardt is injured for our sakes,
but I guess they have an equal substitution. Ralf Straub and Thomas Wessels are the strikers we should keep our eye on. Ralf is incredible striker with magical technique and pace - don´t know the skills of Wessels though.

On a negative side, Kristinn Sturlaugsson is injured again. Shame about tha, because I had some plans with him. Due to that I need to change my tactics.
Halfdan Ludvigsen is still in bad shape. Luckily our other players are all fine and ready to kick some sauerkrauts asses.

First time in this season I am really satisfied with our match.

We took the lead, score was equal after 2/3 of match - Island played great.

The man of the match is our keeper Olgeir for sure. He was amazing today. Of course big applause to our strikers, who used their chances almost perfectly.

The miracle wasn`t very far today.

Bad that Sturlaugsson wasn`t able to play today, he would have been great help for us. That high wing position is exactly meant for him.

Tomorrow we have a home match ahead against Poland. As you know, they are the best in this game, at least for now. My aim in this game is not to let them score more than 10 goals. I have really no idea, if they`ll use their best players or not, but I am not going to take any risks.

Shame that Ludvigsen is still in terrible form and Sturlaugsson is injured. Lets hope for the best.

Today Poland had a plan to use one 3xdivine striker and to beat the current most goals in one match record which is by far over 10. But they failed:)

We lost only 7:0, which is very amazing. Striker Malik was just amazing. For example watch the first goal.
Even bigger threat to us were the wingers. Almost every pass they gave found Malik`s head.

But we also had an incredible chance to score. Thorsen had one on one chance with the goalie, defenders far behind him, but the goalie saved the day. Look the screenshot.

I think we can be very satisfied with the result.

Haven´t had time to make a overview for match tomorrow. As you all know, we will play against Sverige. I don´t know which line-up they will be using, but I will use 90% second line-up. Will give a chance for some players as a thank you to their managers for training Island youngsters.
So guys, don´t hope a good result...that is not the aim for tomorrow. Aim is to keep main team players healthy and not to risk with injuries.

That was a really interesting match - 1:1.
We didn`t have many scoring chances though, but the Sverige wasn´t that much better. They of course had better chances, but Veigar was great in the goal.

I only used three first team players today. Defenders Dybdal and Thomasson to secure the goal and mid Sturlauggson for 70. minutes to create scoring opportunities. All players played great today:)

Tomorrow we play against Poland. Last time we were quite lucky to keep them under ten goals. Lost only 0:7, which made me pretty proud. We even had great scorning chance, but Thorsen missed.

Lets see, what is going to happen tomorrow. The only question probably will be, how many goals Poland will score. But I am hoping that our player could score at least once - it will be quite impossible, but as the last match showed - anything is possible. Luckily I can use our best line-up. And here they are.

We lost only 7:0 again - shame about that last minute goal though. One goals less would have been better.

Those polish wingers killed us today - probably both of them had divine passing. Should have used best defenders to cover the wings. Þráinnsson was alright due to his high form, but Sjöberg wasn`t impressive at all. For assists from the winger of Sjöberg`s wing.
Nevertheless, we can say it`s a good result. Because there aren`t many teams, who can say, that Poland scored less than 10 goals.

Shame we didn`t made any shots on goal. Thorsen was close though, but when the poland defender tried to tackled him behind, then the ball bounced to other defender.

Tomorrow we will play against Germany (Deutschland) who currently is on the second place in our group.
Last time we we had so much luck against them, losing the match only 2:4. We used both our chances, but Germany scored 4 goals out of 30! shots. This time I probably will be using bit more defensive tactics and hopefully we will get some chances to score.
On the negative side - Sturlaugsson is again injured = one tactical move less. Really sad.
